Ugh!!! Literally has my stomach in knots.
I very rarely if ever take the time to give a review. This story has so much potential. The emotional intensity and chemistry between Wang and In was breathtaking and kept me on the edge of my seat. The storyline was great. Acting great!Scenery beautiful. Music lovely. Everyone played their parts and made you have an emotional response to them.BUT the end left me feeling anxious and extremely agitated. I rarely feel hate (strong emotion) towards a character but mom had my stomach hurting. I have two sons 31 and 28. I can't imagine being that selfish and self absorbed to watch their pain for my benefit. Oh! She has my stomach hurting!

Understanding the story
I can't say that I love the series as much as it's feels very authentic. At least to me. Having a life almost parallel to the FL I can relate to her difficulties in life and how that impacts her relationship and interactions with people. Especially her ML. Her acting is spot on and his is absolutely beautiful to watch. Some scenes left me in tears. His love for her... it's like "I will love you enough for the both of us". Watching her gain her strength and voice is wonderful to watch. I am at 27 (a little agitated with Netflix because they keep changing the number of episodes). I didn't know there were 32 EP until I came to MDL.It is definitely not a passionate romance on her part but that it part of her character's foundation. If you having any understanding of SA you would understand the wall she must climb over. I love that ML is a "kick the wall down" kind of lover.

Perfection
Listen I rarely if ever take the time to write a review. 3 times tops. I was so impressed that I had to come submit a review. The storyline was fresh and well presented, and very relatable. The acting was excellent. Kudos to the cast. No over the top acting. They get you emotionally invested. The soundtrack was smooth, there but not to the point where it took over the scene. As others have said, they put in work on the cinematography. If gave me One Spring Night vibes. The episodes were short but they didn't feel rushed at all. A couple of times I clicked thinking "we've got to be getting to the end of this episode", but it was just over halfway through. Even so I would have loved to see the POV of both main leads all of the way through. But hey, that leaves room for a season 2 and probably would have made this length feel rushed. It gave you just enough character development of subcast to make you want to know their story too.
Rewatch value is a 10 for me. I can't wait until it is in movie form so I can watch uninterrupted. In spite of that it flowed seamlessly.
This did not feel like a college movie at all. This could have been at any point and time. Very well done.
