The more I rewatch the previous episodes ... I realize how much LBY wholeheartedly loves CSS . He is a one woman man.... Once he set his eyes and mind on her, there was no other. When she was engaged to LY, no matter what the circumstances were he put her first...her reputation, her safety and her choice ( LY at the time). He was always watching her without suffocating her or breaking her boundaries ... He was never pushy, nor creepy ... I would rather describe him as CONSISTENT. When they were engaged, even though some may argue that he tried to change her with that boot camp thingy but he just wanted her to be better ... He already accepted her and loved her despite their few first unusual encounters, her wild personality and the unpleasant rumors surrounding her ... All of this, never mattered to him, he held her high in his eyes and in his heart... The world's best lady. When CSS finally confronts him and wants him to break the engagement on the basis of different personalities, different status, different destinies in her opinion... He listened, argued and explained to her his pov... And gave her space when she asked for it. When alone he reflected on his action, and stepped his game by putting the work to try and understand her but never thought of giving up on her. LBY gave CSS affection, security, approval, comprehension and consistency. He is as WL said an extreme character with some shortcomings but for CSS he is the best man she could ask for....now the ball is in her court.

You should give love like the galaxy a shot... It took a lot of people by surprise. Perso, I started it to kill time and ended up obsessing over it. Since the untamed and three miles of peach blossom l, I didn't watch any wuxia/xianxia either.
