Can we appreciate the fact that every character from main to support is well written and well portrayed .. no out-of-place dialogues , no filler boring scenes... The plot is smoothly progressing, the scenes are beautifully shot and directed (I love the camera work here) and especially, the editing is just smooth with no awkward transitions or blinding beauty filters. Everything is just perfect.

Majority Wu Lei dramas that I watch were historical dramas where his character is a serious man so I kinda get…
Well, despite being of similar characters his previous roles never clicked for me... But, LBY is such a well written and acted character that I caught myself thinking... Wu lei was born to play him

Any news of when will part 2 of the drama be aired? I am afraid of finishing this part with nothing to follow in a while. The drought will kill me for sure
Ps: i've watched up to ep 16.. so my opinion is based on those EPs. I had to write this after going through so many comments criticizing CSS for choosing LY and going through with the marriage proposal. Before anyting we are judging CSS from a third party perspective who knows better. CSS is hailed as a smart girl to be precise she is street smart, resourceful and seemingly upright... But she grew up without any role model around her... No mother no father, no sibling, no childhood friends/crush/lover, no teacher, and especially NO ADMIRALBLE LOVING COUPLES in her entire entourage ... Until her parents and her third uncle/aunt came back. LY behaves similarly to her father, brothers and third uncle... He likes her, admires her, respects her, spoils her with food and compliments, clings to her like a lovable puppy ... To a girl who grew up without an ounce of love in her life, she is yearning for her mother care and approval... And all those qualities are found in LY... Not to mention she is YOUNG AND RELATIVELY NAIVE especially when it comes to romance. She is confusing being cared for and comfortable with being loved... For her LY is her COMFORT ZONE. And as her third aunt said, you can't force CSS to see that, she has to come to this realization herself.. and by forcing her otherwise, you are just feeding her stubbornness. So I hope people here will stop judging her from the perspective of a modern day adult with much more experience and insight... She is just a kid with a load of childhood emotional knots (if not trauma) who is on a journey to discover herself in that big world.
