I enjoyed ohmnanon's interview with p'jenny on her yt channel, they were both so fine but looked a bit tired and out of it at one point. I only wish they didn't give the fortuneteller so much air time... it took the fun away when started talking about horowall or smth .
now that they are dating it can only go downhill from here
Don't jinx it. And i don't think it would be worst than the actual novel. The downhill from there was heartwrenching. Also P'aof said the series is much sweeter than the novel.
i love this drama so much. the fact that they are actually behaving like people in love (it's craaaazy), other…
Your sentence about standards for bls being on the floor reminded me of someone's comment here about that i quote: here are two hot dudes together, stop complaining and shut up. Lol funny but also disappointing
Thoughts on ep 7 aside from some plot holes and the weird cuts and shots: * i really do believe that pat and pran…
Ps: english is not my first nor my second language, so i apologize for any mistakes, i am not fluent in expressing my thoughts but i'm always willing to learn.
Hope you're okay.. I had 5 hellishly exhausting days and this was my reward for surviving them too..
Thanks for asking, i'm burnt out but i will be okay. I just wanna say I feel you and i pray that your hellishly exhausting days come to end and that you would find some rest and peace .
Thoughts on ep 7 aside from some plot holes and the weird cuts and shots: * i really do believe that pat and pran are meant for each other. And i'm not talking about their background as frenemies/neighbors/classemates... But they are just youngs boys radiating that good natured energy especially when they are together. They are both thoughful and considerate of e/o, of their families and friends. They are both hardworking in the own ways as seen in the bus stop rebuilding project. They are both mature in their way .. Pat under that goofy face of his, lays a filial son, a caring brother, a loyal friend and emotionally supportive and generous lover , on the other hand pran looks like an overthinking smart cookie but he is in fact emotionally mature and equally reatrained like taking on responsabilities and thinking beyond his own wishes and desires. They both deserve each other, when they are together it just feels right. Both of them are e/o safe space. * Pat's personality truly shined through ep 6 & 7 ... Although he became sure of his own feelings land of Pran's, he was also aware of the emotional torture pran's was going through, yet he stepped back not too far and not too close to give pran's time and context to process his feelings even his attempts to make pran speak of their share rooftop kiss were considerate and definitely not toxic and i bet you that's what pran loves about him. * Speaking of toxic, can we talk about pran's mom and pat's dad, they are lowkey toxic. Pran's mom restraining her son emotionally by supporting his relationship if with a guy but not any guy, and Pat's dad who is throwing those parental expectations on his son's shoulders with any of them asking their sons about their feelings, hopes and desires . * i loooooove ink in this episode and every ep btw , she ia who i wanna be honestly. A genuine role model for youngs girls, i understand why pa approves of her . * Can we talk about Wai behavior this ep. I was okey with him and turned a blind eye on his flaws (worth mentioning: his hot temper, and looking for troubles personality), but when he came to pran's room and start taking pran through the guilt trip, i was like: wait , whaaat did i just hear? Pran with his genuine persona won't see it as it is, but as someone who's been their i'll call what it is, and it's MANIPULATION at its finest. Wai already looked like a sneaky dude to me from the start but that convo was so wrong and i don't care if you disagree . * Also i am excited for the next episode not only for the fluff but also for the progress... Many road blocks are waiting for our lovely couple and i'm here to witness their growth.
I love this show immensely but the editing of this ep, and the time jump cuts are not doing the story any favor, and the freaking PPL flood too is annoyingly exaggerated and take value from the original script at this point. They could've invested those minutes in making the story more coherent instead of those weird. And yes, we all agree that the saving grace of this show is the SKILLED LEADS AND THEIR OFF THE ROOFTOP CHEMISTRY. The story itself is overused and some of the dialogues are really cringy but i thank God the series came out better than the promised trailer.
Just imagine this in Ep 6: Pran-Pat: whoever falls in love first, loses. Pat in the morning: Pran, i lost it. Pran: what did you lose ? Pat: the bet! I'm already desperately, utterly and madly in love wih you.
With their stark contrast btw their personalities, i could really see this happening. My only wish is that they won't be dragging the bet trope for more than one episode.
From the official trailer and the already aired episodes, i think they will not follow the novel entirely... which made me lowkey disappointed. The novel itself is really good... you can feel the characters development and the plot smoothly progressing and unfolding little by little even though we already know that patpran are endgame, but it was a delight to witness the subtle yet huge changes in their feelings, to read their inner thougts and to live their angst and hardships... In the novel, it felt like a journey if you can undersand what i mean... With the series i feel like they already started from UP THERE ( if that makes sense to you). Don't get me wrong, i'm loving the series but it seems much lighter and fujoshis orientated especially with the two first episodes production quality and don't get me started with the sound effects. That's my take till further episodes are aired .
From the first 2 eps, you can definitely feel that low key subtle indenialable attraction btw Pat and Pran be it romatically or just friendly . But what's 100% obvious is that the both of them aren't meant or destined to stand on opposite sides.
I read the novel a long time ago before this series came out, and i don't know how much of an adaptation this would be , but if it's going to follow the novel we are in for a real heartwrecking angst. Prepare yourselves people and a lot of tissues
