Why are people rooting for Naksu, but happy for So-i death? Double standards at its finest... Naksu herself is an assassin, she killed people, innocent one too. You may argue she was manipulated by Jin Mu or whatever but that doesn't erase her bloody legacy. Si why can't So-i get a free pass too. She was an orphan, poor and was threatened by Jin Mu at the cost of her own life, if you were to die, wouldn't you do anything to survive? No one is morally correct in this world, it easy to judge when you are a bystander. So-i didn't reveal mudeok identity in s1 and Jin buyeon's in s2, she saved Yul's life in s1 and tried to do so in s2 and even the people working for her seems to care for her wellbeing ... She only did what's necessary for her to just survive .
I give up.... This is just getting messier and messier. For the people believing the Hong sisters new explanation to why they are dragging the amnesia plot should realize we are only 4 episodes from the finish line and nothing is resolved.... Everything keeps getting tangled up. I don't see how this will wrap up neatly tbh .... My hopes are ground-level.

Mudeok didn't run wild even after sucking the energy of that eunuch, also she was not herself when she stabbed him, he knew she didn't recognize him cuz he kept calling her name and when she regained her conscience.... She was devastated and he saw that. Also, Park Jin taking responsibility is just noble idiocy for me. Jang UK was already dead and even in that stated he was disgraced and burned like some criminal. Him coming back from death as the most powerful was fate and I doubt even if all of the daeho mages wanted they can't hurt him, so him disappearing would be much welcomed by the kingdom.
My controversial opinion but whatever....: People kept complaining abt missing female lead in s1 and here I am missing Jang Uk from s1. My boy was quick witted, sassy, unfazed and straightforward. Now he is ... Not that anymore. I wanted dark badass Jang Uk, only to have him serve the kingdom and obey the royals like .... A slave. You would think loosing the love of his life, his soulmate, his master and his everything will make him go f*ck this sh*t, but no he just accepted whatever role attributed to him for three years?! At least he would try to investigate why did mudeok run wild, how is Jin Mu involved, how to avenge her and get rid of that pest. He could have left like Jang Gang did and no one will stop him ; maybe Jin Mu will do and we know why , but I bet the rest of the kingdom will be elated as for the soulshifters , songrim and the rest of the estimed families can do just fine without him.
The writers also have a responsibility to the whole cast as well. They need things to do. Hence Yul's story line…
Park Jin reminded of Jang Gang .... We were teased through the whole first season only for him to come at last and commit suicide . As I said filler scenes and wasted potential
This season has no balance .... Too much filler scenes if not episodes ... I was so excited abt this season and the continuation of the story, and although we are half way through this really short season, nothing is resolved here.... The amnesia trope is dragged too far imo, and it feels like we are getting a repackaged s1 ... They are wasting so much potential, cuz the chemistry is sizzling and we need ANSWERS dammit. Jin Mu's jingle bells... Jin Mu existence itself... The king's star fate, Naksu's true identity reveal and, solution to Yul worm parasite , a wedding at least, the CP getting his shit together instead of being a comic relief character and Jin Mu's puppet, getting songrim back to it's glory, Naksu being badass again and avenging not only her family but herself (she was screwed by that evil jinmu her whole life even when she decided to forgo all and live faraway with Jang uk), and finally some lovey dovey with our leads as soulmates not as confused lover and a amnesiac fangirl ..... And MASTER LEE is the most annoying of them all, like speak up to heavens sake not anyone is good at riddles as he is... Or old enough. #stresseddontmindme
Aos is not a better option.... The suspense is killing me and we are almost half way through with only 10 episodes in total... With so much to unveil and many plot holes to fill, I am feeling anxious and afraid that we will half rushed finale and end up with a half baked season.
