at this rate, i'm ready for the sad ending because i see that both goodeok and seo in now have no regrets for each other. i just hope the ending is written beautifully, like a sad ending that is memorable and allows us as viewers to fully immerse in it—not rushed or with the leads dying abruptly—so i won't regret bawling my eyes out for this masterpiece.
Considering that it seems you haven't watch any sageuk that is more than 7 or 8 years old, I think this might…
naur, i think you should see yourself before judging others. you said i'm defensive as if you aren't.
you said this drama is "A BIG FAILURE" just because it's a sageuk that isn't based on true events, and i replied by saying i disagree with your opinion because there's no one, not even koreans, who has ever said that a drama can only be called a sageuk if it's based on true events. then you wrote that long-ass paragraph to defend yourself, which shows you're in defensive mode.
now, if you insist that this drama is "A BIG FAILURE," then show me a publication stating that a drama can only be called a sageuk if it's based on true events. if you're just saying it without any basis, i'll assume you simply hate this drama and can't stand it when others praise it.
while we are in this topic, so in your opinion, kingdom, mr. queen, and even alchemy of souls are also big failures because they aren't based on true events? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

lol, so a drama can only be called sageuk if it's based on true events? then how about kingdom? were there zombies in the past?
also, i said "one of" and not "the best," which means if someone asks me what the best sageuk kdrama is, i will include this one on the list. furthermore, i stated it as my personal opinion that doesn’t need your approval or anything.
next, by your logic, do i need to watch every sageuk drama korea has ever made before stating which one i think is the best? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
a perfect 10/10! i know that it's too early to say this but The Glory is definitely one of the best releases this year! it'll be hard for upcoming kdramas to outdo The Glory. And for Song Hye Kyo, congratulations on your success in muzzling those haters who always say that all you can do is be an appendage of the male lead in romcom or melodramas.
easily becomes one of the best dramas of 2022, and maybe of all time. hail to all those who have contributed to the making of this astonishing drama. a 10/10.
