Yeaa ur right...bu though he may not be aware of her .....he did try to help her in episode 2 after reading the letters even though he wasnt getting anything in return ...but Sl wrote the letters coz grandma asked him to as he was kinda grateful(he may or may not have developed feelings later ) ...from my point of view i would love to see nam do san and Dal mi together ...( Not because they are the main leads but maybe he might be exactly like the imaginary one in the letters) ..
Second male lead wrote the letters with the help of grandma and not alone...So most of those words in the letter might be those of grandma's coz if u noticed she said a poetic line to dalmi in episode 2 to cheer her up ....And i feel that the real Nam do San is the literal life form of those letters with the samd personality...

Well said....i thought that i would feel bad for hwan if he ended up being alone but the way they reached the ending made me feel happy for him and all the other characters as well...
The last two episodes are the heart of the drama...The actors were top notch portraying the emotions...PERFECT ENDING for each and every character...no other ending could have been justified....I cant say anything about others hating this drama but unless u watch the last two episodes and pay keen attention to the dialogues you wont understand why it happened that way !!!
