What's all this talk about? The protagonist rejected the male protagonist because she has feelings for him, but accepted the other guy's invitation because there are no feelings involved? I think the best thing would be to not have a romance in this and just focus on her career.

The more I watch, the more tired I get of this drama. Forget that ML was somewhat undecided; the problem now is that he's made up his mind, but FL keeps refusing. How long does the director want to drag this out? Episode 31?

Overall, I'm enjoying the drama. I don't usually watch K-dramas, but what probably hooked me on this one was the royalty theme. Of course, there's also the fact that IU is in the drama; I like that actress. Ep. 6 was good, and that ending was great! :3

You know what's wors; Even if it ends well, it's still bad. There could have been more scenes with the main couple and the kids, you know? But no, we only get those "5 minutes of glimpse" of a happy ending.
They even showed scene with Chun'er.
If it had been a ending + a parallel reality of a happy ending, I would have thought it was better

Whether that's true or not, this drama is chaotic; stories that try to be too clever are usually not good because they "try," but they aren't really.

Everyone knew that Rebirth wasn't a direct continuation of Princess Agents, and that it doesn't follow the novel either; even Princess Agents isn't 100% faithful to the novel.
But it's true that there was a lot of expectation, and that frustrated a lot of people. I mean, they expected something, but what they saw fell short of expectations. I'm one of those who had high expectations, but I knew it would be different from PA and different from the novel.

When Ji Fang showed he wanted something more, she rejected him; anyone else would have moved on. In a way, I agree that the right thing to do would be to clarify the situation since he's still interested in her. Honestly, I don't like the romance itself.

Novel ending: ML and FL are Rulers; with three children. If my memory serves me right, Yan Xun is a villain and a tyrant; I don't recall anything else.

I have no problem with bad endings, but don't come at me with 'dreams/fantasies' or 'what ifs' of a possible imaginary happy ending, that's a slap in the face to the viewer.
Goodbye My Princess is a good example with a bad ending.

Another issue is that for sad scenes to work, I need to care about the characters. For example, they killed Li Ce, but so what? Who cared about him? He spent the whole arc chasing after Chu Qiao only to die at the hands of his brother Li Yan.

I repeat: want to make a sad ending? Then make it a really bad one, but don't show us how things could have been.

This series was a mess, but I didn't imagine the ending would be so bad. We could say the novel has a wonderful ending compared to the drama.

To say she's innocent is an exaggeration, but of all the Rebirth characters, she was the only one I wanted to see where her character would go. But unfortunately for me, as if her terrible fate in 'Princess Agents' wasn't enough, they had to make her suffer even more in 'Rebirth'. Poor Chun'er.

this plot of him hiding his brother from FL is kind of nonsensical. No matter ML's argument, it still seems like a bad idea. He's making the poor girl suffer unnecessarily. What's the problem with being honest with her? He's sending her messages because he knows it's important. I don't believe that if he told her the truth, it would be a problem. He just needed to tell her everything; maybe that would be a reason for her to believe him and open up, but no, the screenwriter wants to drag this situation out, and I'm sure that when she finds out the truth, that he hid her brother, she'll be angry with him.

I caught up to episode 12 and... the script is a mess

Finally, we got a happy ending! I was quite worried when I started because it seemed like it would be a sad ending. Overall, it was an excellent drama.
