This show is all I think about in my free time ever since I watched it like the story itself and the way it’s presented is so charming..and I’m loving these two. In my opinion since he’s only ever seen her as his little sister it will require some change of circumstances to see her in a new light, because to me it’s a bit weird to like someone who u treated like ur sibling or someone who u felt a protective sense over, in a romantic way. Like he’s still lecturing her, advising her, calling her a kiddo and treating her like family once they met again, always making sure to look out for her, making that clear. But then again reality stands, they’re not related, they were separated for a significant amount of time, so there is room for them to explore that type of a connection. It is acceptable, because unlike in other dramas where 2nd female leads are childhood friends of the ml, the ml would usually reject the 2nd fl by saying “I only see u as my little sister.” Because they spent a lot of time together that way. Time creates all the changes needed, and separation was required.
I wish there were more scenes with Lu Jing having his hair up lol. Also it was SO FUN for me to watch them figure each other out in real life while being anonymous game bffs😂 actually had a good time witnessing how that unfolded, how he caught onto her and pointed it out to her in ep15, despite the long funny pretense between them as irls😭💀😂 the back and forth was hilarious, interesting and they were sooo cute falling in love with each other all over again. I love this story. I wish she didn’t know he knew for a bit longer for more fun but it was just the right time too for a 31 ep show.

So casually he liked the singer LiangChen already, having some of her merch and albums. but he also grew to like the girl who was playing games and conversing with him all the time. Crazily, he didn’t know it was the same person, one of his favorite singers, being on the other end. He suspects this due to the weird coincidences between his online friend and the celebrity. When he gets a gut feeling, he goes to certain lengths several times in order to meet her and eventually confirm (Say he hadn’t done this, then I don’t think they would have interacted in real life beforehand, if they were not online friends already). Later, he was fascinated and elated when he found out. She also likes him when she sees him IRL (without knowing it’s the same guy she plays with). In my defense, even if they met in real instead, they would still think positively of each other. They were pretty much destined to meet.
So I tried watching this before, but her story with the problems going on at work just took away the interest from me. I’m not interested too much in the conflicts she faces as a lawyer because I feel like this drama focuses on that more than the main leads story? Or do I have it wrong?

I first watched it in 2021 and back then I found the beginning a bit boring and messy, but I picked it up again 2 days ago and starting watching from ep5 to skip through the intro and get into the main story. And man, the show was just sooo interesting and swoonworthy for me. I just love the context under which the characters meet, develop their connection, and it’s super fun to watch how their story unfolds. Plus their love is so smooth, entertaining, and they’re so cute together despite being different towards others. The show is simple, good for a casual watch. It also got me hooked due to the premise and situationship, and lastly I found them together a wonderful, ideal and loveable pair. I really liked this show and enjoyed watching it.
