Snowy Night Timeless Love is a Masterpiece

But, now, Snowy Night Timeless Love is my favorit of all time. It is a masterpiece.
SNTL is a work of performance and visual art. It is a philosophical, emotional,
and intellectual exploration of values, personas, probabilities, decisionmaking,
emotions, reactions, insight, reflections, and consequences connected with living
on the edge. In gambling-speak, all of the players are "All In". Some people never choose
to live their life to the fullest, without fear or regret. But if you do, it does not always
result in a happy ending. But, at least, you have chosen your path. You have lived on
your terms. This story required great acting by the actors, great visuals by the
cinematographers, and great restraint and focus by the directors and producers.
Congratulations to them. They created a timeless masterpiece which will grow in
prominence over time. Wow, I am awed. This is a 10+ even though some of the crowd
cannot understand its greatness. When that happens, I think of the Chinese Philosopher
Chuang Tzu who said, "Little Understanding cannot come up to Big Understanding."
Wait a year and then watch it again. Let it into your heart. Your feelings will tell you
this is a rare jade, eternal in its excellence.

The relationship between two lead characters, Lu Ping and Qing San, makes the story.
Legend of Awakening follows five friends who improve themselves as a result of the adventures and hostilities of the freedom they have chosen within the martial arts world. But, the relationship between two lead characters, Lu Ping and Qing San, makes the story. This loving couple goes from sorta liking each other and yet being irritated by each other to making internal and external sacrifices for each other as they build their love which transforms both of them. This show reveals the complexity of true love. In most of these dramas, love may have complications but is pretty straight forward. Not so with Legend of Awakening. Legend of Awakening shows the give and take required to build a special, loving relationship. All of the 5 friends make sacrifices for their friends/lovers and they suffer for it. All are transformed. But, Lu Ping and Qin San's love becomes a legendary tranformation. After watching this show, you will be sentimentally hooked on singer Alan's duet that is the theme song of the show.Was this review helpful to you?
Solid Direction and Acting
The directing and acting are superb in this drama. I like that the director takes their time developing the story and the actors are able hold interest in the mysteries presented. Chinese dramas have some of the best writers, actors, and directors. This drama has an air of mystery and foreboding that gives it gravitas. However, there are light-hearted moments, action, and subtle romance. I like the characters that have been created, especially Judge Dee. Hopefully there will be anothe season of this mystery series.Was this review helpful to you?
