well today 40th episode released..and clearly doesn't look like it ended..for one we have Li Ba's and Hei Mei's…
So basically they extended the number of episodes for the TV version. They just shortened the time broadcasted for each day to make 6 more episodes out of the drama. Since they finished filming this in 2019, there won't be any added content (from what they previously filmed/planned). However, for Viki, Youtube, and other sites that subtitle or broadcast based on the DVD version, it will still be 40 episodes. There's no difference between TV verision and DVD version, it's just the amount of content that is broadcasted per episode that is different btw. MangoTV usually does this when the drama is really popular. This drama is consistently on top searches on Weibo for the past 3 weeks and #1 in viewship ratings so they want to extend the broadcast time to get more money.
Hello... does anyone know when this series will end because I think the number of episodes were updated fron 40…
I think on Weibo they're saying that it will end on Sept 6 or 7th so they recently changed the date T.T They're probably not adding more scenes but just cutting it differently (each day with shorter amount of air time) because the new drama that follows this one airs on Sept 7th.
I feel so much for LX seeing him standing at the doorway listening to the conversation between dad and doctor.…
I feel like when LX was standing at the doorway listening to the conversation, he was actually happy. He's happy to know that his dad care about him and that there's people other than LJJ who cares about his wellbeing. In Singapore, his more never cared about this wellbeing. So when his dad took him to see the doctor, he can feel the love.
Wow, This drama just continues to Hit the Right notes...It addresses issues in a thoughtful, sensitive yet profound…
Honestly, throughout this whole drama people hate Chen Ting, but I feel bad for her. She was going through some mental health issues but people did not give her the appropriate attention and love that she deserved. She was grieving for her child. If mental health wasn't a taboo she probably would have received treatment and wouldn't have spiraled to this point.
Can I say that I loved the phone call between LJJ and her dad? When she said "I love you" I almost cried. I feel like in most Chinese households, we don't say "I love you" very frequently so when she said that I felt Li Hai Chao's happiness.
Some people mentioned how they couldn't accept the fact that the two brother ended up liking their own little…
I totally agree with you too. The funnest moment that showed how differently ZQ and LX treated/saw LJJ was when MY took out the manga book. ZQ freaked out about the kiss in the manga while LX just laughed and smirked. It's obvious that ZQ never thought about LJJ in a romantic sense because if you're in love with someone romantically you would probably think about kissing them and stuff. However, he thought that it was wrong for the manga character to kiss his "sister"
Okay.....can you spoil me what happens at the end of episode 30?
The romantic part got me too. I feel like even though LX's dependent on LJJ he doesn't control her from doing the things that she wants to. I think that's what stops it from being a toxic relationship. But you know, as long as they're happy and the dependency doesn't cause LJJ to feel bad then it's alright.
Oh no, I don't dare to watch the preview. I have an uneasy feeling for Ling Xiao. When I listen to the OST Fearless,…
I feel like Rain is talking about the LJJ, LX and ZQ's past hurt. Like they all have scars from the past "left by the rain", sometimes they keep those scars hidden from each other but together they learn to heal from the scars with each other. Whether the hurt is said implicitly or explicitly, they slowly heal each other with love. And LJJ is like the one who gave them the light and courage to keep on growing from the hurt. They know that they got each other's backs.

I can see why you don't like where LX's going but I also feel like I understand where LX is coming from. He's feeling insecure because he's been left behind before. Jealousy also makes people think weirdly sometimes. He's also extremely worried that LJJ got together with him out of pity not love. Everything just made him explode because he's been bottling everything up for the past 9 years. I guess it's not a healthy relationship if he continues to rely on LJJ that much but he's scared of losing her. But then that's why the preview shows him going to a doctor.
Don't be scared. I think LX is just fighting with his own inner turmoils right now. He's been depressed for 9 years while he was in Singapore and he doesn't want to lose what he has rn. He's been very insecure because he doesn't know if LJJ would leave him that's why they fought. No one knows what type of hell LX's been through in the past 9 years except himself. But now that LJJ is here, I think he's slowly healing and he's probably going to get some professional help too.
I'm just worried about LX's mom coming back. It's obvious that she is. I feel like her asking LX where the dessert place near his college is indicates that she's planning to move back to China or something (bringing them back as presents). I might be overthinking it though.

At the end of ep 30, LX takes LJJ to her college and they share a tree kiss and then they go eat. But then LJJ brings up ZQ and LX asks her to keep a little distance from ZQ when they're interacting because LX found out that ZQ confessed to her too. LJJ says okay but then tells LX that they should keep a distance from each other when they are in front of ZQ to keep him from hurting. But LX said that they shouldn't do that because ZQ has to learn how to accept reality. LJJ told LX that it's too harsh on him and it might hurt ZQ. LX got mad and told LJJ that she can't just switch sides because she now pities ZQ more and asks LJJ if he's not worthy of being pitied too. (He thinks LJJ would leave him because ZQ seems more pitiful rn. LX thought LJJ chose him because she pitied him.) LX leaves the restaurant and LJJ chases after him. LX says that he knows why her ex broke up with her and asks LJJ to initiate a kiss with him to prove that she loves him (because he knows that LJJ refused to kiss her ex because she didnt like him). LJJ says she couldn't do that in the situation they're in (while fighting). LX said it's alright because even if she doesn't love him romantically they still have the family bond and it's better and stronger bond than a simple romantic relationships as long as she stays beside him. (Basically LX is doubting that LJJ actually loves him.) LJJ replies that she wouldn't be in a relationship with him if she didn't have romantic feelings for him.
Without Jianjian, Ling Xiao may die, Ziqiu would survive.
I agree. LJJ brought light into LX's life. I feel like LX has nothing but LJJ. On the other hand, you can tell that ZQ is going to get his mom back from the recent episodes. Ofc ZQ needs LJJ too but not to the point his life hangs on it.

I've been listening to the ost everyday because it's so good. I feel like they really did a good job describing their relationship. LX needs lots of love to heal from all his wounds
There aren’t many drama with a score higher than 8.6 with lots of reviewers on mydramalist it’s normal not…
ahh I agree! Sometimes reading the weibo comments hurt my heart. They even cursed LX for his romantic gestures towards LJJ and they were really mean about LX's decisions about his mom's situation.
