Yeah that's true but I think LX wasn't exactly controlled by his mom when he was young because he grew up under the care of LJJ's family. His mom probably didnt force him to change his own choice of career path too. I'm just point out the fact that it's good to let children explore their own paths. Growing up in a Chinese family, I've seen how many children are pressured into following paths that they dont like because of the "parents know the best" mindset. So I think this drama is trying to really show that aspect. That children should be able to choose their own paths too. :)

I just suddenly thought about this. When their kids were young, people looked down on LJJ because she was not the best at studying. MY's mom forced MY to do things that she didn't like for her own good. TC's mom did too and was too controlling of her own daughter for her own sake. They all did this because they wanted their daughters to be successful. However, when they grew up, people thought LJJ is shining because she's becoming successful. LJJ became successful because she was able to make her own decisions and explore things that she liked. Her father offered her unconditional support in a way that allowed her freedom. On the other hand, MY and TC were controlled in certain aspects so their moms stopped them from truly exploring and taking paths that they wanted. So I think think one theme of this drama is to let children explore the paths they want. To let them be themselves even when the child's parents think they're too young.

I think she just likes handsome boys haha. I got similar vibes from her when LX walked in too. But I don't like her boyfriend, he's giving off bad vibes to me rn. I hope he doesnt try to do anything bad to LJJ's workplace because they showed him trying to convince LJJ's senior to be wary of LJJ's success.

HAHAHA the newest episode got me. Now ZQ's best friend likes MY. I just don't know who to ship together anymore XD MY likes LX (rn), LX likes JJ, TC likes ZQ's best friend, ZQ's best friend likes MY, and JJ currently has a bf. This is not even a love triangle anymore it's like a whole love pentagon or something haha.
