I personally did not like it from the start and even left comments since early episodes. I also think the opposite…
I understand if you don't like this drama from the start because it's not your cup of tea but the reason why this drama got hyped is because it's really good drama not only because of Kim soo hyun popularity. I really like it because this drama teach us about life lessons and it reflected in real life. People who struggle in their lives will understand and like this kind of drama. I know that some episodes are boring but i understand why because it talks about mental illness and some scenes are too emotional. Yeah, the ratings is low but for cable TV it isn't low, it just because people have high expectations because of ksh. You said it's hard to get 7% right! I admit it but the reason is the drama popular among young generations but not for old generations so in Korea they like watching tv with family but if their parents don't want to watch it, so they can't too. Teenagers prefer Netflix or tving rather than tv some of them said they can't watch it because of their parents and some said they wanted to watch alone. If you don't know I will tell you that tving has 2mil user and 76-80% of users are watching it lives broadcast. Not to mention that it always 1st in Netflix Korea. I see good reviews from non kdrama say that this drama healing them or make them feel better. So i don't think calling it overrated drama is right because it deserves the hype. You can say you don't like it but plz don't say that it doesn't deserve the hype and to all those who say it's overrated too. Not all people should like it because everyone has their own taste. <3

Where are my IOTNBO fans at? - The ones that actually loved the drama, say i :D
I'm coming back but it's surprising that there are some negative comments just because IOTNBO get high ratings. I mean I really like it because it's healing drama with deep meaning and I don't have problem with it if it get 9.5 lol

This exactly ! There are plenty of dramas out there and if people don't like a popular one they can love without…
maybe they see it everywhere when they open social media and they're annoying because so many people love it but only people like them don't like it Haha and you're right they're childish to say it's overrated xD

So when the drama is popular and everyone loves it there are some people raise their expectations...they want to watch it and didn't care about the genres like if it's good for them or not. they watch it because the drama is popular but after they watched it and they didn't like it, they called it's overrated drama. ( I see a lot of popular drama being called overrated just because they're popular than other drama ) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Am I the only one who was here since the first day when they announced this drama? I never commented on this site but I always come here every day to see people reactions on drama and when I saw a lot of people enjoyed watching it I was so happy . Before this drama released I was worried because of storyline didn't really interested at first and knowing that the writer is a rookie and her previous works is not that great it made me more and more worried because this is the first drama of Kim soo hyun after military services and I knew that some fans are also worried and have negative feelings like me. I watched it because of him but it turns out that it's really amazing drama that will never forgotten. I really miss the days when it released but now no more new episodes come out ??

After your comment, I've been thinking about why I felt Kim Soo Hyun's Acting to be just average, and although…
Knowing that this is your opinion and how you see his acting in that way and I respect your opinion and I'm not against it . For me he is not average. I think he did really really great job and never doubt his acting when I watched him in this drama I always related to his character. I feel pain when he cried I feel happy and healing when he smiles. I don't know why but maybe people have different feelings . Here is what director and writer say about him and his character : "Last summer, Kim Soo Hyun contacted, he said he enjoyed the script. He also told me that he very grateful & moved for choosing this work with affection for a character named KT, who is not so strong, unique, or glamorous compared to other characters. "It’s to the point where I can’t imagine Kang Tae as someone other than Kim Soo Hyun. I was touched by the level of versatility he was able to show through the drama." writer Jo Yong~ "There were many roles that would interest him enough and he chose KT, who doesn't have a nice corner ( or strong character compared to Moonyoung and Sangtae). Kim Soo Hyun finished & showed his KT without being shaken by these & that noisy speech parties." "Kim Soo Hyun acting spectrum is surprisingly wide and there are countless details in between. I think there was no better choice than Kim Soo Hyun who could interpret the role as Kang Tae." Director Park Shin Woo~ Kim soo Hyun know that moon Kang Tae is not an outstanding and strong character compared to the two others main characters but he still chooses to play this role and look what now even though he did it amazing but a lot of people finding others main actors are much better than him because of their characters are showing unique and strong personality that people never see this kind of characters in kdram and compare to his character is just an ordinary person who always stressed never smile ( at this point make some viewers think he always stiff and the same expressions ).
