That thing of lowering his pay was just a rumour. It was generated by someone's fans who i dont want to name here. They were angry that GJ was rumoured to be on the project instead of their fave & spread those rumours. The way Gong Jun got on this project is the director was offered many candidates but he chose gong jun. Coz he liked him since they worked together on Word of honor. Also Youku have been working with gong jun alot from before he was even famous & now that he is famous so ofcourse they would offer him the spot. The moment gong jun was rumoured i automatically knew he was going to be in it coz the project is for youku & the director he from WOH. He didn't need to lower his pay. Gong Jun has only ever lowered his pay for one drama only. And that's word of honor & the reason was coz the drama had an extremely low budget & he loved the character he was going to play. Everyone & investors pulled out coz of the pandemic. No matter how everyone said the drama was going to be a flop he still stayed on it coz he knew the script was excellent.

They give her multiple sctipts & she chooses the one she wants. And if she happens to choose the one u dont like then never blame the management.
