What happened? That last episode is a rushed mess and one of the worst (unmotivated) endings, I've seen. The show was really charming and good until then. As if a completely different writer/director was responsible for the last episode or as if they had planned more episodes but then were forced to end it suddenly in one single episode.

so... you didn't even take the time to formulate your own opinion? You just stole the text from another reviewer (Joel Keller, decider.com), slapped a ridiculous low rating on it and presented it as your own text? This is called plagiarism and not ok. Reported!

Great work with your article. I disagree with your opinion, but that doesn't lessen my respect for the time and effort you put into the article. As far as I'm aware, the show is considered overall as a failure considering the ratings for its budget, so not sure how it could change the industry. I have to especially disagree with the notion that Sisyphus is "cerebral content with an intelligent script that respects the audience". Quite the opposite in my opinion. If you want a well-thought-out time travel story with an intelligent script, try the German show "Dark". What works good in Sisyphus is the flashy (but shallow) spectacle with amazing fights, mostly good visual effects and a fast pace to keep the viewer entertained (and distracted from the nonsensical plot and non-existing character motivations). The mystery, the world building and the inner logic of the time travel falls apart the second you start to think about it. Personally I had to suspend my disbelief to much to enjoy the spectacle.
