The FL looks elegant-pretty. Do idols have restrictions on kiss-scenes, lol? Typically cdramas make room for a lot of sugary-stuff, but the couple here had a quite conservative relationship. Yup, both looked quite wiser than the general tropes.
FL is soo artificial, came here for Darren...but the cliche is really annoying. They should stop making the 'carrying-the-whole-family-burden' trope, at least make it realistic. The fated love/magic stuff adds more cringe.
FL is quite the tough-bossy type, and it didn't bother me. Janice acted well.... it is a sports-centered drama, and I liked the MC. I'm sure they wouldn't have made it 40ep without that breakup stuff...cdramas try to make the leads as flawless, pure as possible and miscommunication is the easiest way or maybe suddenly antagonizing the 2nd leads. That poor cute guy, he looked like a lost kitten, surely an eye-candy.
I previously watched Janice in strong-tough-FL roles.......I was amazed she could absolutely play the pure, kind girl. She nailed it - she never fails to amaze me
Chemistry between the MCs? I'd say they r more like chill-bros-kinda relationship, healing each other when needed, improving themselves as human-beings, filling each other's emptyness. I mean they are not the childish, act on whim type. Both r quite mature in thinking - the real deal. They do really talk like wise people, lol.
Typical shoujo manga with virginity-kun initiating the plot. Koreans can make this into 60 min x 16 ep romcom. This was trending on Viki, so I gave it a try. The shy girl and her inner mind.
I don't know why I'm watching this, but the food looks good.....u should have shown more of the food, please. The characters are alright, but not really interesting enough.
tHe actress carried the show. I dropped by the second half, when it gets more emotional and slow-paced. The actress is soo pretty, and the funny type....she was so lively in the first half. Loved her!!
It's interesting how they had a thing for natural disasters. Fuji-san, having conversations abt life nd hw they feel realistic passion for eachother...it is a beautiful movie
Murakami is Murakami. He shows you what it is like to be empty, how beautiful and delicate it is. The actors did a fine job, and the narration felt on point - in fact, more interesting. The music made the film even more special.
This is so painful to watch, for it is such a contradiction. The suffering of love must be really hard - humans love and want to be loved, for humans are lonely beings, they need love. This show constantly shows the gray, not the black and white justifications of emotions. This is such a well-done show, it can break people.

Can she beat Goku, though?
