oh but like heartbreak comes for him not long after. his son becomes the king when he's still really young so qi yuan probably died very young (we'll know when for sure and what of this thursday)

She really was a mastermind behind the scenes but I could never really follow her emotions throughout the series which made it hard for me to root for her

mingyu dreams of him because her son fought and kinda succeeded in getting his happiness in love and we get chengxu holding her. ps he looks really good in that scene

wow ep 46-48 were exciting and powerful. mingyu has some regrets in the last few eps but its a little too late for me. also cant believe her involvement with 2nd brothers death ughhhh

Did you all still believe that MY didn't choose power over XC? Everything she did was force and for XC's good?
I think the FL likes to justify all her decisions as being done for the 'greater good'... but really I just think she's being delusional lol. She had the chance to return the throne to CX but didn't and her son is just turning out to be the same, if not even less rational (maybe due to young age) than CR.

I saw a comment on one of the teasers for an upcoming episode: there is no most tragic point in Xiao Chengxu's life, just more tragic....... every few episodes comes a new heartbreak. At this point, I really can't wait till XCX lets it all go and realises he was the only one who was sincere the whole time.

Have anyone tried watching it and how was it? I tried the first episode, but I don't think I can bear to watch…
I came right from LaR final VIP broadcast. I think it took about the first 8 episodes to be ok and I'm now waiting for ep 11. There are times LaR memories come back (when the same cast shows up haha) but overall after the first few episodes, I found myself ok with just seeing Cheng Yi in this new role :)
