I like this, but I've watched half of it now, and the steam of the initial episodes is getting lost. Sadly. Now…
I have a level of apprehension about what issues they may face. There are hints that things don't turn out exactly the way she sees them. I think they will end up together and happy in the end though
This show is really doing well with creating sexual tension and relationship chemistry. One of the things I am enjoying is how we see the male lead in her Visions as being very different from how he is now. I think this allows him to a played a present in a very subdued way with mostly micro-expressions to show how he feels about her. Unlike some shows where suddenly the male lead likes the female lead and we never saw it coming. This is what I found Difficult about beautiful seasons I think the title is. I'm going to check that but first i'm going to post this so I don't lose it
I actually just managed to purchase a brand new, unopened dvd set of this drama off eBay. Lucky find!
So the DVD arrived and it certainly looks brand-new as advertised. There are issues with the cinematography when they are filming outdoor longer-range scenes. Also the makeup artist was having issues in the editor didn't seem to catch them. All of this is interesting in the light of the history of kdrama. I am really enjoying the show and it is so much easier to fast forward with the DVD. I had forgotten that.
It recently dawned on me that the whole 2021 covid timeline may have been superimposed on a script that had already been somewhat conceived and written. It just really wasn't well handled although initially seemed part of a fantastic framing of the show. Because I loved so much the show I am trying to understand what went wrong for me in the show. Others comments have been helpful to me here.
I was away and not able to watch the last few episodes. Now that I know how it finished I do not have a big desire…
I agree with a reviewer who says that this characteristic rushed ending of kdramas is somewhat purposeful in that they have the glory and the audience and do not really need to wrap it up well. This is insulting to me as a viewer.
I was away and not able to watch the last few episodes. Now that I know how it finished I do not have a big desire to watch them although I probably will at some point. I thought the show was wonderful up to the point that I watched. When I read that the male lead a big role in the depiction of his character , I became concerned that that might not be consistent with the writers idea of the story. I also did not like the way we were teased about who was her husband and who her daughter's father was. The timelines of when she married and when she had the child don't make sense. That is something one would expect an explanation for. I did not like a different actor playing the mature he do. She did not present as a happy person and we don't really know why that is . The scene where he do and her mother have their check-ups and hold a hands with each other as though each other is all they have implied that he do does not have a good relationship with anyone else. This is the saddest part of the show. If it was losing Eugen that caused her to be this way then the whole story line that this is what happens in life and we move on does not hold water. So what happened to cause her to be depressed really? I don't think this is something we can accept for a 40 year old woman as a good outcome.
I think he only started acting when he was 30, after a career in competitive swimming.
I am also looking for Tamra the island directors cut but not having any luck yet.
