I think she was being very political in her response to her husband. If she had said she had been violated That would have given him power over her. Also, if she had said she was leaving because he has another woman( Which would seem an obvious thing to say in our day and age) she would still have been left subject to him. I don't know if I understand this correctly. But didn't men in that time have multiple wives?

I think she would have consummated her marriage, But probably not happily as a previous poster would like to think.

I am traveling so it has been difficult to keep up with my watching. I wanted Something more light hearted so I watched I am not a robot. I am also coming to the end of destined with you and have mixed feelings about this show. I definitely want to keep up my lighter and princess rewatch. I am starting episode four now. I think it is in episode three where one of the side characters says Something to the Effect that he's glad he is normal. I think this was when they were talking about l Lighter. It is interesting to think about the symbolism of the lighter. He could set the world on fire. In a negative or positive way. I also think it might Be an expression of his restlessness.

In the first several episodes, we spend most of the time in theireUniversity days. It is the context for the rest of the show and I like how we had glimpses of what the future held. Of course now that I am rewatching. I can see how the scenes connect to the future. I just finished watching Episode four I think It was Where he inserts a virus into her computer. It was his way of defending himself. She had been implying he was not handing in his homework because he really wasn't that good at coding.

Gifted students often hide their talents because others will.Tease or insult them. They are often required to.
Endure boredom in school. One of the techs who is trying to fix the virus in her computer Wonders why he is in university if he is already so capable. This is a good part of the reason why he is not attending morning study. He has learned to do what he needs to to Express his brilliance and develop further. I respect this and applaud him. It is unfortunate that he does not have the social skills To relate to others and this will Cause problems for him. Also, he senses how others feel antagonistic towards him for his intelligence. We see several instances of this in the first episodes So his poor social relationships are to some degree also about the other people in the interactions. I am not defending his behavior but trying to understand it. He is not the first gifted person to behave this way.

I have not been sure if I want to rewatch this show but after reading posts here I think I will. I did not read this show as a toxic relationship but so many others did. I am curious To more closely examine this show and think about my reactions and others.

I really enjoyed this drama when I watched it about a year ago. I had no idea it had created such controversy online. When I think back to my watch. I enjoyed it for the story regarding the business. And for the characterizations. I am not one who sees the male lead as irredeemably toxic. I see him as a gifted man
who had some of the social deficits sometimes associated with brilliant thinkers. My memory is a little fuzzy now about the details of the show. I think this drama was illustrating the trials
and tribulations of such a Personality. Although there was a romantic component that was not why I watched it or what I remember mostly about it.

I agree the drama is not explaining very well. If we surmise, both the girlfriend and the gardener are from the past, then that's how they teamed up

We did not see him remembering the past. But I can imagine that This happened while he was unconscious. I thought I had missed an episode

I feel exactly the same way about that scene. I felt cold to the scene although I Was aware of how romantic the music was.

And the one time she cried was was impressive. They must have filmed her crying and then incorporated it into the scene.
