Agree with you, I'm totally against school teacher x student pairing but in this drama the FL was on her last year of college (cmiiw) so the couple were both adults. I don't understand what is so wrong about it. It's the same like all adult couples out there the difference is just that one was a professor and one happened to be his student

To answer your question, actually his coldness (aka expressionlessness) was one of the factor that attracted me like I would scream in joy crazily everytime he chuckled or looked at CXX lovingly because he rarely did that. And i kinda felt that C drama is more realistic, not rushed, FL is more naturally bubbly, it gave me more school vibes, ear catching osts. But of course irl I wouldn't like both JC and CXX characters :)
