Totally here to see the opposite couples irl pairing up in drama 😂 So far Yaya and Mark seem a lot more comfortable but I guess that’s because they have one drama together already under their belt 😂😂 Hope Kim and Nadech warm up to eachother as well as the filming gets underway😊 very cute ceremony pictures so far 😊💕
Ya’ll I had to check myself and take a moment of deliberation, before posting this because it makes sense … sure … but it also complete does not … I had such high hopes for this series but I should’ve trusted my gut about not judging a book by it’s cover 😅 not at all the ending I was expecting and can’t say I’m pleased. Series was well enough executed but now I am left with unresolved frustration about the unfairness of it all and feeling like Tofu deserved more then what he got… his sacrifice alone should’ve earned him his very own miracle … instead he’s become a literary device to advance the plot to its real destination … Had I known this was going to be the case, I would’ve gotten out at an earlier stop 😅👀 I need to start learning thai to read these books in advance mayn 😫😫😫
Y’all don’t want to be a party pooper and I’m not going to pretend I know a whole lot about the state of the translation to this, but please see below 2 reasons why I don’t believe this will ever be translated or at least not in any rush.
SPOILER
1) I think the Thai spoken in this drama is old fashion to the point where there might be a few riddled phrases every now and then which may make it tedious to translate ? I don’t speak thai but I was being a smart ass and translating this with Thai subs and a ‘snap translator’ app (Wouldn’t recommend btw, 12 min of viewing took me nearly 1 hours to translate line by line ?) and sometimes I knew the subtitles were not matching up cause of the way I was translating but other times it sounded old fashion to the ear. Could be wrong...
2) MAIN reason... It doesn’t have a happy ending ... no ways to go about this guys... it looks like a really good drama and I’ll watch nearly anything with Mark ... except dramas with unhappy endings ?? Can’t do it guys and don’t think anyone willing to translate Lakrons is happy to sit through this to painstakingly translate and then deal with the aftermath of the ending...
For those willing to wait for it to be translated (I’m sure some don’t mind waiting for an ending like this) I wish you the best and will keep my fingers crossed someone will do the job.
