I skipped forward to the NC scenes cause that's what I thought they did best cause the rest seems surely shit, but they can't even do that properly. There isn't even hardly anything yet their boasting about uncut scenes.

You do realise that they are actors just doing their job for their survival and have their own personal lives? On top of which they could even be straight and taking up such roles do come up with so much awkwardness, especially in a conservative asian context? You do realise taking up such roles do have it's fair share of consequences, the person has family and friends and also further projects which they would want to take. Remember how Hoya was questioned about his sexuality when he played the role of a gay guy in Reply 1997. And you being an Indian girl should very much aware of how difficult it is for any person regardless of their orientation to take up projects? Actor Yuvraj Parashar's parents had filed a legal lawsuit for disowning him as they thought he brought immense shame and embarassmentment towards the family when he starred in India's first mainstream gay movie, even though he was applauded by the then CM of Maharashtra! How would your parents react towards your brother devouring a guy on national television?

And in my personal opinion they both did a fantastic job! They have insane chemistry and the kissing scenes were sincere enough. They were the first couple to actually have a real onscreen kiss if you have seen the previous mainstream Korean BL dramas. Stop stooping so low and kindly think a hundred times before spewing such nonsense and toxicity. Please get a life!

When someone so vulnerable completely made up his mind not to take this relationship anywhere further, any acts of pity or softness may make his overly protective boyfriend feel that he still harbours feelings for, and JW wanted to make sure that just doesn't happen and deliberately decides to let him be at his own accord so that he stops trying and leave. By no means he had the interntion of reconciling and he clearly made it seem that way to SeoJoon. Cars and vans have their own heating SeoJoon is not going to die, JW just wants him to leave. As it was evident from S1 that JW felt he was replaceable, that his absence would mean nothing considering the fact that SJ is a big celebrity and is always surrounded with people. JW only felt he was mooching off him. These are all signs of low self esteem. It's only over the course of actions in the show and persistent efforts of SJ win over his lover to the extent that he could jeopardize his career over him, JW had to give up on his stubbornness. Even JW family feud with the villagers which aggravated his loneliness made him realise he is not the only one suffering and also needs someone to confide him made him want to go back. You may call JW selfish or whatever, but in the long run, if you put yourself in his shoes, he was always skeptical about his relationship working out in the long run! That's just how real life is, considering the fact SK in itself is quite a conservative country and they could not be seen in public together either. Stuck between four walls waiting for his lover at night, he was suffocating and losing his identity.

The only mistake that JW did was to prioritise himself and his self worth over his relationship. And tell me, how many people actually do confront difficult situations and not runaway. They are scared that their point of view may be invalidated or belittled and tend to keep to themselves. If they were so confident enough to speak, such problems wouldn't have arose in the first place. Such personal inner conflicts are not easy to explain. Astonishingly, these moral police are the same people who glamorised VegasPete, even though Vegas clearly tried to rape Porche in multiple situations and also inflicted physical and mental torture, and just because he got attached to his pet Pete and started missing him and shed a few tears. The entire fandom starts melting. People were so quick to forgive Vegas even after all his deeds, whereas here JW just decided to keep his distance for his own mental well being, everyone has to start thrashing him!

The problem here seems to be the demographics. Most BL watchers out there seems to be these hardcore BL fangirls not actual gay populus who are so used to these bubbly fluffy unrealistic shows who think the world is a utopian place and everything is perfect XD. JW wasn't a perfect character, he had his flaws, but doesn't that make one human? A person who has hit low and has had some rippling self esteem issues at some point in their lives will certainly understand the course of his action well!

Ji Woo's character is so beautifully written! I can draw so many parallels from his behavior my own life story and even career choices and artistic ideologies! It felt so REAL!
