If DM had shown even little bit of romantic inclination towards JP(as in she was confused btwn NDS and him... kinda like she had feeling for both but had to choose the better man) then DM-JP chemistry would be visible and much better than DD couple. But like you said she wasn't confused and Dodal chemistry is due to the writers grace.

I am not shipping any couple in startup but I have seen some say that JPs ultimate happiness lies in being with DM.On the contrary I feel he will be happy only if he is free of DM, physical emotional in all aspects... She isn't worth all the hassle plus I dont see any romantic chemistry.

SYJ...they would have make DM a very strong willed character. At this stage I m just glad none of my fav actor/actresses are playing NDS/DM.Then I would be the one defending these foolish characters here lol
