I have seen private lives and it has a different way of storytelling and camera angles... One where you show what really happened as flashbacks... So that may have put off lot of the viewers. But I found it decent.... Better than SU.

Do NDS flaws need to be analysed for the audience to realise it? They are just so glaringly visible.... like a punch to the face(audience') . Maybe I will bingewatch a few episodes sometime later to see if your theory is correct.

As far as I know, actors dont have control over actions of the characters.They can improvise diolgues and expression given the freedom. Idk which of NDS actions( lying, punching, stalking,eavesdropping, disrespecting the parents etc)you would have found cute if it was a more charismatic actor but lets agree to disagree.

Both NJH and Suzy are neither too bad nor too excellent actors. Definitely not bad enough that they can fuck a up well written characters or the plot( which this drama is not).KSH is charismatic, but if he was cast as NDS and then the audience found his actions adorable/excusable ( punching HJP, stalking etc etc) just because KSH is a good actor and very lovely to look at then it would be disturbing tbh.
