Same with me. ZWY's Xuan is very compelling and complex. I do pay extra attention on his scenes as well. On his decisions regarding XY, you see his inner struggles. I can literally feel the pain in his heart. 😭💔

I think Chenrong Xin Yue is decent when it suits her. I still remember how she treated XY in the marketplace trying to buy the same makeup box. Xin Yue was really rude in throwing her money around. You can tell how spoiled she is and have no consideration for people who she doesn't benefit from.

In an alternate universe, if he confessed and not seek the throne, I can see them together. They already have a strong bond and trust so it's not hard for them to love each other. She can stay for a short time at Mount Jade to regain some of her powers. They can either travel or stay at Qingshui Town. She can still be a doctor and he can run his winery. 😄

I find Xuan fascinating.
I actually sympathized with him a lot and understand his difficulties. Yes he doesn't want to be like his grandfather, but he learned that you can't be weak to protect your loved ones. His grandfather taught him that.
