Yep they try to make him the "hero" in the last episode. I think he's too far in his dark path for any type of redemption because he put her in danger in the first place by kidnapping her. Sorry, LJX is not a misunderstood 2ML. As viewers, we saw that he committed heinous acts without any remorse. Ning saw his true character. I don't think she has the stomach to love such an inhumane person.
Man, I love that LSY is smart on how he will tackle the corrupted officials, Prime Minister Wang and his goons.
