This is such a yawnfest... Dropping it after epi 6/10. And if ML is such minimalist that he doesn't need to have his own home, properties or girlfriend in relationship, then I would not wait for him. Not as FL, not as viewer.
I'm halfway episode 1, the ML is still away in Africa and have not yet returned to Korea. There are other guys there, though (Yoon Jong Hoon, Jin Ho Eun). One has the ridiculous haircut with the sideburns from hell, the other one looks like hey cut his hair around a pot which had holes. What a collection of forcefully weird shapings. How come that in compare to this, females are allowed natural, LOOSE hair, even when portraying elder, rigid high ranking characters.
Yeah, this definitely was feel good drama with mature characters and honest conversations. It took me about a month to watch the first, and also the last episode. It's all so politically correct and positive thinking. Just a tiny little bit boring at times, lol.
Those with some kind of crisis or roadblock in life will be able to relate. The drama has its own pace and deserves…
Yeah the "drama" definitely has its own pace, because it does not mind me dying with boredom and it keeps savouring itself and enjoying itself while sadly, I am not enjoying IT.
'Kissing The Shark' should be the Primary name of this one. It's the original name (跟鯊魚接吻) It corresponds with what we watch on the opening credits, too
NOTHING makes sense on this show. 5 - The SCHOOL cheer squad show look more bombastic than national sport level 4 - Female lead joins the squad for money, despite the squad members repeatedly being "prophesy assasinated" by the stage lamps falling from the ceiling, so there are definitely safer options how to pay her bills 3 - Female lead gets BLACKMAILED to leave the cheer squad by one fellow member, who'd otherwise expose her reasons for joining. Which no one should care about as long as she does a good job 2 - Never the less, the boy with looks of lonely weirdo bad haircut serial killer wannabe minds her being there just for money very much, obviously he is such a cheerful cutie he always wanted to be on the cheer squad from the heart 1 - Female lead gets offered - on an early episode - to become a girlfriend of a wealthy boy who has no problem with paying all her bills without her having to sweat on the cheer squad at all. He is no ugly old guy: he is young and handsome, probably better looking that the male lead. She has no reason not to accept, and the whole drama would not need to happen. LOL
On episode 2. I don't get what is supposed to be so special about this show, yet (people here say they RE-watched it, lol). I only pitty one of the guys. If I encountered someone like the red-dressed guy, I'd change schools and move to another town. On episode 3. Ugh... So far I'm struggling with this. Feel like dropping it. On episode 4. I find one of the guys super mega annoying. My condolences to the baseball cap guy... Wait. This episode, he takes the cap off. He's got full, super girly lips... Future looks bleak for women. Soon these boys won't need them. Drama-wise, I'm not sure what to wait for, here. To count how many on the cast share the same lip gloss? Dropped. Episode 5: I started watching again for the raving reviews, but despite me being a hopeless sucker for romance, this time, something in me wishes that the baseball cap boy never falls for the super annoying boy, and that he just finds him annoying TO THE END. Epi 6: I'm sorry for the girl, who is more likeable than both the boys to say the least. Yet she got dragged to a "date" where the cap's only using her... 6/8 & still don't get what all the viewers saw in this. -Now there only 2 twenty-minute episodes remain so even if those are good, it's not much to re-watch lol. Epi 7, there's long kiss scene. Wish I could watch it with a couple I DID ship, but never mind. There's not much runtime to the end, so I'm all for filling it with the fun stuff. Instead, there's bit more boredom & in the end they agree to trial-date. Might be better if they did that in 2nd episode, not 2nd from the end. I was SO sold on the idea that they can't even stand each other for solid 1/2 of the show. It had a boring final. Overall 4.5/10. Wait! It did NOT have inner monologues, did it? That's a plus. 5/10, then.
OKAY After more than 20 episodes of waiting Tae Rang DOES confess to Seol Ah, he does NOT want friendship only and the couple is about to kiss in a Demi Moore's and Patrick Swayze's Ghost pottery scene kimchi version. And then he KISSES HER ON A FOREHEAD????? That's IT I'm done with this show. What's left to watch? She goes back to the husband? I don't like him and he definitely shares some genes with his mother - unwatchable The witch sister/husband's secretary lover - unwatchable The first couple - unwatchable The whole group of family members - unwatchable
It's good that the evil sister does so many deeds that she'll be glad not to go to prison in the end, because she'll be ONLY banished into a life in poverty which would be the hardest punishment FOR HER, otherwise I am sure that they would still let her have many property after they learned she's not their biological daughter
Instead of course everyone is worried about her and she goes to commit suicide so everyone forgives her and then drama end. I would LOVE watching how she lives in poverty at least for a while which would be more funny and satisfying than what we watched for long in most of the drama
This is an example of how to give bullies more power. Honestly, sometimes the victims make it easy for the bullies.…
How is she acting "high and mighty"? Like one fellow commenter said: "FL is quiet, level headed, brusque and straightforward when she speaks. She keeps to herself, is self aware, knows her worth and doesn't take crap from people. People like these who are comfortable being themselves even though they don't fit into the status quo. Right in episode 1 everyone else has been behaving like trash, like making assumptions about her, speaking behind her back and creating unpleasant rumours about her, or that one silly girl that impersonated her on social media which is a crime. Yet somehow the FL is the "terrible" person because she doesn't have a "cherry disposition". Sigh." I must say it was spot on, exactly what I LIKED about FL in episode 1. Problem is when the usual school k-drama story starts, and while her scenes having a panic attack remembering the bullying look impressive, it's ridiculous when they show the actual bullying. What I also thought was she was making it easy for the bullies was when she was always on her phone. I know it's todays phenomenon, yet I would recommend her & everyone to add regular Without-Phone days into your routine, blocking any anonymous users, and generally spending less thoughts on someone on the internet. I remember days when we did not have mobile phones and we were able to function in school AND at work. It's not NORMAL to be available 24/7. We're not OBLIGATED to.

I dread korean men haircuts. The shorter the better, then.
I saw old AND new tracks.
But I'm not really talking about the tracks, I'm talking about the videos LOL:
I only completed this out of courtesy.
On a second thought... When in doubt, it probably wasn't all that great. LOL
