Episode 3, the teacher & student enter the physical relationship and I realized I already know the main actress. She was the older sister in 'Hana Yori Dango'!:-) Which was 10 years later drama where we did wait to the last episode for 1 single chaste kiss, with the sunlight shining right into it, so that we'd not see too much, back then I thought that was the standard for japan yet now I see there's almost a make-out session back in 1999:-)
Episode 5, I even thought that was a dream sequence there, at the gathering. Did she really announce it like that? I get that it's a drama and not supposed to be realistic, LOL. I watched 'Chugakusei Nikki' where all what happened was that boy gave his teacher 1 chaste kiss and the teacher got expelled, generally condemned and almost imprisoned. It was not until years later the couple reconciled into grudgingly accepted existence. And that show was made 19 years after this one. Here, first all the people anticipate these two have something, based on nothing. Then they have sex in a school library. Then she's thinking she's Joan of Arc just before burning and can say anything, putting the boy into a position where the least manly thing he can do is marry her (this is supposed to be first love for the teenage kid) and dragging the whole school into it. Even if she's right in being honest with her feelings, the rest of the people are there AT WORK, educating children: why should they listen to her ranting about loving a minor? Are they supposed to call the cops, or get her a shrink?
Wow, quite long kissING...! Seriously, we need to see whole drama, not just 5 minutes, for it to have the right impact;-) It's like here I am, here you are, and Good morning, Tokyo, lol. I only watched up to 4/12 because then I haven't found any more sub. Then I got 6/12 subtitled, because it's BL, and it's the same curly boy from episode 1 (from the poster). Boy swings both ways, lol.
Japanese GL? There's not many of those. I should probably at least try it, despite reading Tags like 'Gaming Industry', 'Ex Comes Back', 'Workplace Setting', 'Office Setting' which would otherwise be enough to discourage my interest beforehand...;-)
Okay, this does NOT sound promising, LOL. Lots of running? I noticed long time in j-dramas. Whenever it's a life or death situation, and the character needs to be somewhere really fast, we watch them literally running through the city. Nobody has a car, and apparently there is no public transport either. LOL.
I wished they would quit it with the schooldays flasbacks with completely different cast. I kept confusing who is who and they were so different that it did not connect.
Last episode, the kiss is REALLY long, lots of beautiful real kissing, kissing on the nose and cheeks, too:-) Then you even get french kissing, with tongues visible. And you know what? I'll actually rate a bit LOWER, in the end. Because I'm pissed. These are scenes which we should have in DRAMAS. Not standalone scenes. First I thought it would be more enjoyable to watch just the juicy bits without the ballast, but now I see that spending some time with the characters does make a difference. They should make it at least 20 minutes like 'Watashi ga Kemono ni Natta Yoru'.
Well if you dropped after 15 mins, then considering 1st episode had 23 mins, you only missed 8 minutes, lol. And…
I agree because film is a visual medium and the characters should be able to express their thoughts & feelings with the help of good acting, good music, and camera work and other techniques used by the director of the movie. We should not need to listen to those, literally spelled out for us. For me, that's both a failure - unfortunatelly, in hollywood they keep doing voiceover for inner thinking/summarizing/explaining while adapting "famous" books - and annoying. I will not be told what to think/feel the given scene! I have my own judgment, lol. Often the voiceover tries to cover what the actual scene is LACKING and I won't be manipulated like that. I allow myself to be manipulated in a good way, by good acting or music like I mentioned.
i think people just upload the bl cut, theres full raws on drama-otaku
Okay I might wait till the beginning of next month, but from what I read on drama-otaku, they reject people trying to register, there. Reasons like, empty credential (what credential?), Insufficient activity, Insufficient post history, No Validation. I can tell beforehand it won't be easy to get in. If I am a private person, no social media or other accounts (just me and my email:), who does not post anything anywhere much (perhaps except on mydramalist:-) then I won't be allowed to download their precious subtitles. Despite me not being danger of breaking their Rules (not share anything found on their site), sites having rules like that usually ask way more personal info than I am comfortable with and then STILL won't register me. See, I can't just dowload stuff quietly for my personal use only. So, sites like that are not a solution, either.

Dropped at epi 6, somehow I had enough of this.

Considering this has 11 episodes, I'm confused.
He's ADORABLE.
