Ji Chang Wook GROSS? he’s one of the top corean actors. and if you find him half feminine, watch Healer or the…
Yeah Healer, I tried SO SO hard for all the raving reviews, still I barely finished 4 episodes. I had WAY more patience back then. I remember now! That also had grossly feminine looking GUY in supposedly macho role
Ugh... Tried to force myself through this to the end, despite that I LOST my interest already. But I really don't need to see the last 4 episodes.
Like, am I the only one who's super bored with this after 7-8 epis, lol.
My thoughts: 1) It's not fun enough just because there are two cute guys who might or might not go into some skinsh*p. When it's not actually FUN. This is not the first BL in which the producers obviously expect me to be all giddy just for the sake of it. 2) The cutest guy on the cast is in the side role 3) The high school brat is "in love" because the older guy randomly saw him drowing in the sea 10 years ago. We watch the whole scene in the flashback. It's very clear that had the drowning boy died, it would be catastrophic, long-life trauma for the older guy. Just imagine he'd carried the small body from the water and it would be dead. How would he continue to live on? The boy wakes up, though, and Minato touches his head lovingly. I can totally relate: that moment, he practically loves the boy just for being alive. But you can bet Shin got the wrong impression. And yeah, 10 years later he confesses to him being his idol and wants to date him. He relates the sea incident. I felt like: after you revealed this, you will ALWAYS remain a kid to HIM. It's similar to parents, who'll always see their sons and daughters as children, despite them being fourty years old:-) So I felt like this went exactly against any romance and sexy hot atmoshpere. 4) All episodes go slowly and dry. I am not interested in what really happens. Will the high school boy graduate and get into good university or not. Will the laundromat guy date his previous teacher. I don't really care. Shin is sniveling, telling Minato that he's the only guy that he will ever love. Not only I find his feelings immature, but annoying as well. That boy knows nothing about life. I don't care if he commits suicide to prove his everlasting love for Minato. More importantly I am SO bored.
This is SO boring & uninteresting. On one hand, they want to create romance & drama, on the other hand, they want to keep it "realistic", so they don't go all the way with it and the result is MEH. The synopsis/opening premise might sound spicy but in the age of social media, people "live" more on the internet than in actual life. It's boring to do but even more boring to WATCH. And I really wish asians would stop calling social media "SNS". Social NETWORKING is something else than social MEDIA anyways. Why don't they just use their korean/japanese word for it. And all the males have moronic haircuts.
I tried at least 3 times to get through the 1st episode. I mean wow! At 6:59, there's the main girl from 'Sassy Go Go!'. Sadly, she is not the lead HERE. The lead girl is a cute, chinese looking twenty year old. Pretty sassy as well. But the MALE is the problem. He looks gross. Lame, half-feminine with oddly rosy cheeks. Probably wearing make-up. Can't make it past 14th minute. I'm sorry, but change the male lead, else I can't watch this. DROPPED
Even the first episode is pissing me off. "You're not girls anymore" and so what? I dont like the themes its trying…
Yeah in real life, that blonde guy would be groveling on the floor for a sexy bit older girl, boys like him tend to like those A LOT, more than girlies in their twenties;-)
The guy is cute but he already did the older womance thingy on 'Search WWW', where it was a BIT more interesting, at least. I did not finish the 10th episode of this, it's boring & uninteresting.
Divide it by 2, it's 50 standard hour episodes. Occasionally, I still watch this, but I admit it's just because I'm such a sucker for bitchy female / nice male trope;-))
I wonder why is every character in this motivation-speaking themselves in their head. Is it that important to be cool? Isn't it a bit uncool to try so hard to be cool?
Either way, it's getting longwinded with all the inner monologues, especially when it's a 23-minute epis only... I won't stay for more than one, though. I prefer watching less self-conscious characters, that don't worry about something every second.

Season 2: Not Interested.
