Nothing against Cris Horwang️️️️️️, SHE makes this show watchable and she is still sexy & beautiful at 42. But, to pair her with Lee Thanat is super awkward.
"I happen to be no longer excited about watching romantic comedy genre dramas. I love dramas that make me feel bitter about life but also fall in love at the same time."
I happen to be the exact opposite, I guess. I feel no longer excited about watching heartbreaking bitter human drama genre dramas. Now, dramas need to make an extra effort to make me laugh or engage me with some exciting skinship between the lead couple to make me feel entertained while watching else the drama ends up dropped and I end up dropped asleep.
Whatever happened with Jung Eun Ji since 'Sassy Go Go'? LOL Whatever happened with Choi Si Won since 'She Was Pretty'? That he looks like a hobo? LMAO Can't stop watching this horrible thing! Getting permanently thirsty, getting grossed out, pi**ing myself with laughter... This is one crazy show.
Episode 1 introduces more weirdos than fit in 1 bulding and then it looks like we'll have to solve murder case at school... Then, there is a timejump and everything changes but somehow the number of twisted individuals does not go down the slightest. I keep watching for Nakajima Yuto only, because he's yummy (those freckles on his face, hmmm...:-) but honestly, if this was just a stupid show full of love affairs, I would have enjoyed it more. This WANTS TO be something more but with each episode it does not know what. In the end it's all just ... Meh.
Lost my overal interest in 2nd episode after few minutes... We know that they like each other. It's just a matter of time when they say it out loud... Not much drama in that. Also, while she is pretty and interesting to look at, he's got the typical "almost born female" look. Lesbian viewers (or latent lesbian) must be way happier with k-dramas than straight girls.
The clothes people in c-dramas wear & the hairdos are utterly horrendous.
Especially male haircuts. One would think there is not much to ruin about a male short haircut, but whatever happened to EVENLY short hair. Every single male young or old wears the same invention, where someone SHAVES sides of his head, all above each ear, brutally. Those skinhead shaven areas look UGLY up close.
The GIRLS can have SO simple haircuts! You can tell it can get pretty untidy if she makes a wilder moment. Yet a MALE has his hair fixed with ton of hairproduct every second. THAT IS SO WEIRD.
In this drama, males wear incredible pastel color tops, vests & suits. Including some thugs who are attacking a girl in a club LOL They look like parrots. Or some other animal considering the weird haircut shape. In contrast to the shaven off sides, their front hair sometimes stand up so high that it looks it's going to fly off all the way to the airport. When it's down, it's not that much better. 2nd episode, FL pours a glass of wine over ML's hair, therefore destroying his forelock so he actually looks a bit better, lol. SFL's hair look sexy and natural. Had she wear the fake, dyed shade the ML is wearing, she could rock it. ML, not so much.
PLUS the clothes LOL I wonder whether the actor would willingly wear that pink vest if not for the role. Do they all come from some wildly gay cabaret or are all the chinese tv stylists crazy? Is this their way to silently protest against gays being illegal in china?
Okay, I admit that despite the crazy clothes & hair, the main couple IS very good looking. But, if the sleaze side-character guy is the only one having kiss scenes in this drama, what good is it to us? LOL
The two people main girl & main guy are SO cute & natural together I should wish they could wear normal clothes & normal hair and have normal plot instead of all the staged farce but for that they would need to emigrate from china lol.
But you know, it's like they know about them cliches and every now and then they break from them, and do really goofy stuff between the main couple:-) It's like they took a break from the tiring script. The couple is fun. The "drama" is just something mandatory they have to get over with. They don't even take it to the end. Like, secondary male lies that he slept with the main female, but then admits that he did not. Secondary female gets the main male in his weak moment and promises to save his company if he marries her, but he plain refuses her. The list goes on. Each of these would suffice as the road block for the rest of the whole drama, before. Now, they just brush it off. Move onto the next. I guess that's how they evolved by 2017 LOL.
No matter what happens, the couple scenes (after he starts calling her "wife") are SO cute & funny. No matter all the idiocies between. You almost can't believe you watch this in chinese series. Because I know c-dramas where for 45 minutes, 45 episodes, you watch ONLY the idiocy.
Yes on youtube there are all the 40 episodes subbed (link under the spoiler). I tried, it does have attractive cast. I did suspect this might not be my cup of tea, nevertheless I made it through most of the 1st episode. But when the characters insisted on speaking in english, with the typical incorrect pronounciation that makes them sound like ret*rds, even I started to waver. After the chinese, FEMALE lead said: "You can call me Oliver." I quit. Not sorry.
Starts nice, but soon you realize that this show made a huge mistake by mashing 5 incongruous characters together... At one point, I was afraid we'll drown in the paid boys vs. paid girls plot... The runtime is too short for all their stories, too... The ending is meh so that a "cliche" happy-end is avoided, but it's also a lukewarm one... It's like we originally hoped for something better to come into the lives of those girls, but in the end we need to be content that they got out of something way worse. Not really 1 enjoyable romance/kiss scene, so overall 6.5 out of 10.
Can someone respod me.When the ML and FL first kiss? When the ML and FL are together? Are any love triangle?Any…
Yeah someone pls post the time stamps on all kiss scenes. Actually there should be a thread for that for every drama LOL No seriously, I would have use for it
I'm sorry. But I use adblock. The site still plays the video. I don't need to login, I don't need to turn off adblock, they still let me watch. THAT is a good site. The Twitter site shows nothing to me unless I log in. THAT is sketchy. Or, I go to youtube channels that have CC captions. That is also for free and no register. I think the original network itself provides the subs. Which is how it should be. They DO want international audience, don't they. Private person like you should not be the one doing the subs to begin with. This needs to change but not the way you propose. I will not register somewhere or pay for every sub I watch. I am also a private person. I pay for the internet itself. I pay for electricity and I pay for the device I view the stuff on. The content? That must be paid by the site. That's their bussiness. I really do not need THOSE worries you said that right.
And why their praises, were pretty short.
Why they mostly simply said: "Beautiful."
