based on the story, Evernight have some "politic" in there while Douluo Continent dont have that.
personally, i think Douluo Continent drama adaptation is a disappointment. the novel is great, the mahua is great, the donghua is great, but not in the drama. they butchered the story.
is this the lastest dra about wu zentian? i hope they make another remake soon, after watching the story of yanxi palace, i feel this 2014 Drama production a bit lacking (i know it's one of the most expensive production cost)
