this drama is 180° diferent from "story of yanxi palace" or "story of ming lan". in this drama, naive FML being schemed again and again. dont put much expectation in tag "smart female lead", you will surely be disapointed.

it's historical fiction, the character is based on historical figure but the story is all made up fiction. even the woman birth name is made up because no historical record.

Story of Yanxi Palace OR Ruyi's Royal Love in the Palace, the same "character" because the character really based on history, butdifferent fiction plot and story. i suggest to pick one of them and dont watch the other one
