ML lies for no reason🤣

Dream of Splendor, it was one of the best dramas to come out this year.

2 ep. down and I love this🤣

It may be the studio then. I know sometimes they wait until their leads have another popular drama that wraps or try to avoid bigger dramas

I assume the low rating is more so because of the cast change. Ive never seen O2J season 1 or 2. I dont know why they have it listed as a sequel when it seems like more of a retelling of the story but this time theyve locked in the actors for the 3 seasons so they wont have to recast.

China is really strick with the release of dramas. There are so many steps to get them approved for release. Sometimes the studio waits for a good time to release it too. This may come out in the next few weeks since Immortal Samsara is about to end. They may try to capitalize off of the MLs popularity.

I spoiled the ending for myself. Im glad I did tbh. I only watched ep. 17 and without any connections to the characters I still cried buckets.

I held off watching this almost a year because of comments I read. Im glad I finally watched it. Reading the comments had me thinking the ML was some insufferable selfish A-hole but dude was legit a white knight who was 100% transparent about his feelings. Even the antagonists werent as vile as the comments made them look.

He handled it perfectly. FL already knew ML had feelings for her. If he would have told her about the affair she wouldve played dumb. Seeing it with her own eyes was the best way. From start to finish of the show the ML is straight up and open with the FL. He wears his heart on his sleeves through the whole show. ML his 2 sisters and the director of his company are probably the most open and honest characters ive seen in a drama🤣

From the start I was intrigued by his character. I was really nervous about his character because the people around him weren't very morally grounded. But he and the older sister were perfect for eachother. Im glad they gave them their own little island rather than having their love story interact with the main story.

Oh I know, Im on ep. 47 rn. Yeah she plays through a variety of different emotions. She perfectly captures them with her expressions.

Watching this Ive realized Yang Zi is the only actress I dont get annoyed with when she plays the overly cute/childish FL.

How severe is the SH on here? Is it only verbal or does it get physical?

I enjoyed this and hated it at the same time. They need to change the villains in these Korean palace dramas. The bad guy is always some old dude hungry for more power🤣

I love the fact that although there was drama within the palace it never got to the point of them wanting to kill eachother for position like most dramas. It also blew my mind how well the third prince and Buyi worked together to attain both of their goals. I had no idea they were as close as they were. The concern third prince had for Buyi throughout the last 8 episodes made me think that maybe he had feelings for him tbh🤣

Yes! Everyone one was perfect in their role. This is one of the few dramas where I felt like no one was miscast. The Emperor and both Empress were my faves after the leads. The trio and how well they worked together was special.

I absolutely loved this. I wish we wouldve gotten a wedding in the end. Also I wished we wouldve gotten more interactions between the Cheng family and Buyi and his 2 guards. It wouldve been nice for him to experience more of the typical family life..
