On A River Runs through It Oct 4, 2021
I don’t mind Slow Burn Romances but I do hate unrequited love storylines that last forever. I loved the first half but I’m on ep. 22 and have been fast forwarding through all of this love drama. It’s annoying. I enjoyed them all hanging out as friends. Now they barely hang out together.

Hook shot?
When they’re picking a club to join and he makes that insane shot and his shocked reaction knowing it was luck because in most Chinese dramas they’d try to make the ML look super cool by making it but they didn’t on here.

10 ep. in and I absolutely love this. My favorite scene is definitely the hook shot😂 I honestly don’t even care about the romance right now. This is giving me Reply 88 vibes.

Title Forever Love
I absolutely loved this. The FL is amazing and gorgeous. Only thing I hated was the fact that no one really got punished for their bs and I can’t stand it when the character obsesses over another character for years even though the person ignores them and the characters who get mad when the person they like, likes someone else

You are missing out it’s older drama so your eyes have to adjust to it. I tweaked my tv settings a little and…
Yeah I saw Love in the Moonlight and then this. The other young girl is Kim So Hyun from Love Alarm😂

Title The King in Love Spoiler
I just rewatched the drama and also still like the story. But i still have a hard time noticing whom she really…
I think she felt bad about potentially ruining Won and Rins friendship. It was always Rin for her. There was the one scene where she thinks back to the party the queen had and she talks about how her heart ached because Rin was looking away from her while Won was always looking at her. Yoona even said in an interview that the character was only in love with Rin.

Their should be screen adjustment settings on laptops too. But yeah I couldn’t watch older K Dramas either because of the same issue but once you’re eyes adjust to it it becomes easier. I got over it by watching a drama of my favorite actor since I knew I’d be somewhat invested in watching it😂

Reading these comments have solidified my stance on why I ignore reviews and comments about dramas on here. I loved this and felt like the adult versions of the leads did great.😂

This drama could have been perfect if it wasnt for the FL. Wished they made her audition for it and did not just…
I loved the FL

I tried to start watching this, but the lighting is so so bad, it's too distracting.

Title Introverted Boss Spoiler
Did you understand why the sister that dies was intimate with the other guy when she loved the ML? It just doesn't…
I think it was more so how fast the series of incidents occurred. Her reputation was destroyed, the man she loved hated her and then the shock of what the ML sister did was a formula for disaster especially for someone who was already mentally weak. Just as the ML said, if she were to have thought for a moment instead of being shocked by the sister she wouldn’t have made that choice.

Title Introverted Boss Spoiler
I ugly cried when they showed what led to the sisters suicide. I know some people felt like that wasn’t enough to have someone commit suicide I think otherwise.

Title Introverted Boss Spoiler
Loved this drama but can someone please explain why the sister that dies was intimate with the other guy when…
She was an introvert and anti confrontational like the boss but if I recall they only had that one kiss and she killed herself soon after.

Title The King in Love Spoiler
Theory time: I honestly believe in the end Won did give up his unrequited love for San. I think the title The King Loves is referring to Rin. Whenever he referred to San he’d say “his woman” but with Rin he says “my Rin”. I don’t think it’s anything romantic but I do think they were soulmates in the sense that if one is hurting so is the other which is why the antagonist knew that the best way to shake up the Palace was to create conflict between the two and Rin knew it which is why he wanted to leave.

I just finished this and I loved it. The bad guys weren’t typical bad guys persay but they had a valid reason for doing what they did. Of course as in any Palace drama everyone had their dirty laundry. However once the deaths start occurring you may be moved to tears because no matter how bad the person was they were loved by someone and the show showed that. There were a few plot points where I was confused because I felt like they already who was behind what occurred throughout the story but that didn’t impact my joy of it. The character I leaned towards the most was Rin because just like him I want to help everyone and be there for everyone but you just knew something had to give. I really wasn’t interested in Won until towards the end because at first he was really possessive and didn’t seem to have any character development until the story intensified even then he digressed b4 rising up and becoming a better prince. As far as San goes I enjoyed her character as well. You get a good idea about who she really loves within the first half of the series. In ep. 9 you get a really strong idea as to who she loves.
