Samee, I'm loving all these episodes even if the progress on the plot isn't the biggest or the interactions between TZ/YY are as much as before, because I also appreciate the trio and I feel somehow a balance between the supporting and main leads scenes. Like you, I'm just worried that they may rush the more important parts of the story, we have so much stuff to resolve, the artifacts, the secrets about the demon-god war, TZ getting out of that sect, TZ and YD recovering their memories, them fighting, YD stabbing TZ, them making up, the romance, the real villain, YY's background... OMG, I hope it's more of 19 ep, I'd be so heartbroken if they ruin this for me

Why she wouldn't? She's a demon after all

My messy thoughts for today's episodes:
- Zhao Lan getting crowned was such a good scene, I almost busted into tears. She totally deserves it, sadly Yu Mo doesn't reciprocate her feelings. Anyway, Zhao Lan is one of the sweetest and nicest SFL I've ever watched, hope to see her more in the future.
- Luming didn't meet TZ, what a missed opportunity!
- Bye bye Ying Deng or at least for now
- I find it so hilarious that YM thinks YY is Huode Yanshuai hahaha
- Every time that bracelet lighted up and hurt TZ, my boy almost broke into tears, it was like a bitter reminder that no matter what he feels for YD, he can't do anything about it due to his responsibilities.
- I like how YM is managing TZ's feelings for YD, he's respecting them, feeling sorry for him, helping him to figure out his feelings, and asking him what he wants to do. Also, I appreciated the nice brotherhood and friendship they already have, TZ eating fish and YD wanting to eat too was hilarious; I hope YM doesn't change when he realizes he's YY.
- Xuan Xiang is back! I believe he's not a bad guy, and probably had major reasons to go to the demon-god war. I wonder whether he recognized TZ/YY or not because it looks like he didn't. And also, what does he want to do with Lichen?
- Little did know Xuan Xiang that he was playing with the most gifted weiqi player in the three realms, YD.
- When the dancer girl gave TZ the red ball, YD's eyes were full of sadness... Attention everyone, our girl has also caught feelings! It was such a treat to watch her getting jealous hahaha.
- Looking forward to the rest episodes, it seems we're gonna get major development for our Goudan couple and also some clues about the demon-god war.

If you see some of the trailers or stills, you'll see him using red clothes, so he very likely faked his death

So I was rewatching the 7th episode, and I'm pretty worried about TZ's health. He has to recover the four artifacts of the four Sovereign Lords that got lost in the demon-god war, but Ying Yuan's artifact was converted into ashes after he use it to destroy that giant snake T_T, maybe that's why YD will have no option but to stab TZ to save his life.
Also, I'm super pissed at that Ji Dou Star, I know he's probably the villain here, but he committed so many mistakes and reckless moves during that war on purpose because he knew Ying Yuan will come to protect him... And when all the sovereign lords plus Hua Qing supposedly died, Ying Yuan was stuttering on his bed when he went blind "Huan Qin, Huan Qin" and I'm like he doesn't deserve your concern.

Yes, the first six episodes have the objective to introduce you to the Nine Heavens and especially to the dynamic between Ying Yuan, Yan Dan, and the people around them. In the 7th episode, everything starts getting more intense with the demon-god war which is a major event for the latter part of the drama; I also personally loved the first episodes, I found the grounding of their relationship very soothing and endearing, but I do understand that is kind of slow 0_0

On my side, it's still Sunday T_T, but anyway gonna wake up early to watch the episodes early

Hahahaha, there the two identities situation for both leads was way more complicated than here, YY and TZ would never appear together at the same time as BJ and QM did or YD is YD even without memories but Houchi felt like a separate being to Shang Gu and even felt threaten by her existence. Like you said, heavy mental gymnastics for real.

I think it's the same for Cheng Yi too, the styling and costumes in this drama are way better than in his previous works, he looks ethereal and fresh, overall a full display of his amazing looks.

The demon-god war is still a mystery in many aspects for the characters and us, actually, when you get more advanced on the plot you'll see ML is going to investigate about it. In early episodes, Ying Yuan said there was a mole in the Heaven Realm, but they didn't find it, my guess is that the mole is Hua Qin (Star Ji Du), and he somehow, made something really bad in the name of the Heaven realm in the Demon realm, remember that a super sus and powerful demon in one episode wanted to see the demon king and one elder told him that the king wasn't interested in taking part of the war and that they needed to find a way to fix that? I believe Hua Qin must be the master of that demon. The point is that whatever Hua Qin did got the demon king that furious that he went to war, hence the conversation that YY had with the demon king when he was trying to destroy the pillar... It's normal to be confused, I got all of these details after rewatching the five first episodes plus some spoilers I know about, but this war and the Genesis one have tons of secrets, betrayals, and many stuff we don't know about, so stay tuned!

The most epic reunion we'll have

I mean he will, I think what makes a person is his memories and experiences. When TZ/YY recovers his memories, he'll also have TZ's, hence he's both of them, and will have his ending with YD. Anyway, I understand what you mean, it's like Qing Mu and Houchi's relationship, Bai Jue was back but I couldn't help but feel sorry for Qing Mu even if he was still Bai Jue hahaha

But the love is a accompanied by romance ;) At least, I've seen tons of romantic moments in this series

For me the romance is always been there, but if you mean if it has officially started, I'm afraid that's not the case
