Yeah, I was kind of restricted to modern dramas before thanks to Ashes of Love because I felt really stressed while watching it due to the scheming SFL, the heartbreaks, the misunderstandings, the treason, everything was just way too much for my young heart to take. So I pretty much avoided these kinds of dramas for a long time, and holy cow, I was losing so much good stuff, but now here I am mainly watching historical, xianxia, and wuxia lol and I think with such fantastic dramas of this genre coming soon, it'll continue to be the same

I'm not a super fan of sad endings either, but ironically one of my favorite dramas ever, that basically got me into historical, xianxia, and wuxia dramas, has the saddest ending ever. Before, I'd avoid sad ending dramas at all cost (I even dropped some dramas before due to the SE), but since One and Only, I'm more open-minded about it and as long as they execute it well even if my heart is pierced a million times, I'll probably love it. But you and I got one thing in common, I love to bawl my eyes out.
