YY was attacked while descending to the mortal realm, so his celestial vest was damaged, and he lost his memories.

I want to put my two cents about YM: we should give him some time, he loves YD and he's actually grown into a more powerful and mature person after nine hundred years of looking for her, and I believe since his identity is also problematic and his past unclear, we are going to see fascinating stuff about him in future episodes. I particularly enjoy him winning over the aquatic soldiers from the dragon clan, he looked good, handsome, powerful, and cool.
Though YD has just friendship feelings towards YM, they share a fun and dear friendship bond, he treats her well, and I'm happy that he holds enough power to protect her. Also, I think since YD and TZ/YY have already met, we aren't going to see him that often.
Finally, I think he has a good character, so I believe as long as he knows YY treats YD well and whole heartedly, and that YD reciprocates YY's feelings, he'll step aside.

Oh, sorry girl, she will make the worse decisions in the upcoming episodes. But I think we can't ask too much of her, at the moment you're at, she's like 20 and hasn't really experienced much in her life primarily due to the lack of her 6 senses, so it's normal she's easily manipulated and makes some dumb decisions. I was stressed by her action many times when I watched, but I kind of understood her.
Sifeng is the best, but my man is lacking in all that ML on xianxia dramas are lacking, communication and their statement "I'm doing this for your own good" - you'll understand my statement after you watch more episodes - but anyway they're flawed characters - as it should be - with an amazing, endearing, heartwrenching and cute dynamic and chemistry. There's a lot of pain coming in the way, especially for baby Sifeng but the ending is so good and satisfying. Enjoy!
