You know, that they have this kind of familiar feeling, that deep within their hearts the companion, support, love, pain, happiness that they shared in OaO is still there. Their bond is so strong.
We know that for censorship matters we didn't get her to clearly and literally remember her past, but the fact that she dreamed about Chang'an when she was a kid, that she fell in love with ZSC at first sight, that she agreed so easily to his proposal, that she cries when she's dubbing some OaO scene are implying that her past life is there.
Plus, Shiyi asked before jumping from the city walls that he should ask for her to marry him in the next life, so it's something that her inner self has been waiting for a long time ago. Otherwise, who would agree to marry just like that if it's not a contract marriage xd

It’s kinda hard for me to wait for episodes (I’m already rewatching OaO and some of today’s FaE episodes), it just comes to me how I’m gonna survive from Wednesday to Monday…

Have you watched all the available episodes? They do not remember, but if you ask me I would say deep within themselves their feelings, closeness, pain, and care for each other in their past life is still there, like the "beautiful bones" (inner beauty) is still there. So that may be the reason why Shi Yi agree to his proposal very easily.

It's indeed sad, I've seen the first six episodes but it's no bad at all. I quite like how they are managing the past lives matter, they just have to do it in a very subtle way.

I read that China has a censorship for reincarnation stories, so that may be the reason. They are going to introduce the concept of their past lives in a different way.

The matter with the "second lead" is low-key the same with Shiyi and ZSC.
Shiyi fell in love at first sight for ZSC, because she loved him in her past life and that would be also the reason why he fell for her and become very special to him kind of quickly. Under the same logic Meixing (Zinxing in One and Only) loved Shiyi in his past life, he fell for her just like that.

I binge-watched today's six episodes, sad to think that we're just getting another four for this week. As expected, I'm loving it. I love every single hint they have been giving us about One and Only, I hope that through the drama they keep doing so.

The beautiful bones they have now and had in the past are probably the reason why Shi Yi fell in love at first sight with him and the reason too for ZSC to treat her differently.
The stares between these two make my heart flutter really hard (xd) as it did too in One and Only. I really like the dynamic between ZSC and Shi Yi, awkward and cute. I'm really looking forward to the first hug, holding hands, and how slowly they'll get closer and closer to each other.
I loved the little details: the attentiveness between them, the scheduled calls, the support, he trying to learn more about her... they're so in sync.

Besides, I like to think that historical speaking ZSC is for being a great and a loyal general and prince in the past, not as a traitor. As you may know, if you watched One and Only, after the wicked Emperor Zinxing died the little emperor was crown. I believe that this mini emperor cleared ZSC’s name, as he knew the true story and what really happened. I think that it’s the least he can do as ZSC lost his life to save the emperor’s.

She said she was dubbing One and Only, the One and Only we all watched, in that drama the story between ZSC and Shiyi was portrayed so it makes sense that she knows he was just framed.

I read a comment where the person said they did not. Shi Yi stood by him :3

True, but after she said he was framed. I know that in the novel ZSC, historical speaking was a traitor, but having in account that after Zixing died the little emperor was crown, and as he knew ZSC wasn’t a traitor, he would clean up his name (after all ZSC save mini emperor life giving up his)
So I really hope that in this modern world he isn’t known as traitor, but as a great general always loyal to his people and nation.

Same, I cried too in the begging when she was dubbing One and Only

I’m done with the two first episodes,I’m loving it so much. The relationship is progressing really fast, the shots are really nice taken, part of the OST is the same of One and Only, and the acting is outstanding as expected… Well, I’m going for more.

I cried in the first minutes… LOVE IT
