I didn't like the dubbing too at first and only came to love it after falling deep into the hole of cdrama. It has come to a point where I would guess if the actors are dubbed or not while watching first episodes. Bian Jiang fucks me up sometimes though especially when I first watched The Sword and Brocade. My head suddently started spinning images of Touba Jin, Lan Zhan, Yehua???? (Esp the low whispers like Yehua my boy??)
But for the love of god, whoever dubbed Dilraba on The King's Woman needs to go because shes the reason why I couldnt finish watching that drama!
Cheng Yi's acting here has traumatized me forever. His eyes shows so much pain and longing and just overall emotions. And his costumes are amazing! I normally fawn over FL leads costumes in xianxia dramas but Sifeng's just king-ly!! Hands down the best drama of 2020 they need to win an award oR I'D BE UPSET. Chenyi too for best actor tbh
Gina and Yitong chemistry is so good that I thought it was a yuri drama at first before I checked that this is an adaptation from Gossip Girl ?? on some scenes, gina looks at yitong like shes so whipped ?? i love it ???
