Well Tan is still pretty mysterious and and shady in a way so we don't know if he is really doing this to cover himself. To me, he knows way more than he says.

I think they kind of meant slowly in the BL part but honestly I find that part to have a perfect and natural pace, to see their relationship grow and their trust to be built (and shaken at times) just makes sense to me. Plus I do agree with the comment above this is NOT just a BL, this is first and foremost a crime story INVOLVING a BL story in it (which is too cool for me, been waiting for something like this for a while now).

You know in my some novels I read (like Love mechanics or beloved enemy) or tv series I have seen (e.g my day) I did see things like what you said, very bad things forgiven just like with just a "I'm sorry" and sometimes not even that, and this bothers me A LOT. As for Tharntype, I see people talking about this all the time, I did not read the novel so I don't know there but in the series it's not like a saw much of a REAL resistance from Type so that you can say that Tharn was harrassing him. Type is not small, is strong and hot-headed if he wanted to get Tharn off him he would have, my opinion of course and maybe I got it wrong.

I mean I am totally with you about disliking Ton. I just think he is exaggerated as a character but this is just something that you find a lot in this kind of drama. Ok being homophobic (it's not okay but if the character is fine), okay that you might not have a clue about a friend being gay but both your childhood best friend and your 2 best friends who have been living with you and dating for years? Come on. He will have a character development for sure, my problem is that he just starts from an "unbelievable, unrealistic" place.
