I was actually looking forward to that scene too where ML must be surprised once he knows who's the great chef is, I really anticipated for that "moment" I already predicted it..at first I kind of a little bit disappointed...but then I my disappointment turned to amused, i thought every scenes in any dramas in the world , would be easy to predicted what gonna happen to the next scenes or it's plots..
I'm so happy because apparently the ML character was really smart and sharp..he can identify her in a second regardless she's wearing a mask to disguised... "100% matched". And I was like "woah!"
Misunderstanding was common in any other drama.. which later will creates an angesty....talk about FL .....insecurity…
Indeed...one's had to calm down in whatever situation in order to become a rational...
Even though there's a time I also mifted with her insecurity but at the same time I also understand why she make such a drastic decision to leave....but she was heart broken..with her "no show" husband at their own wedding banquet..then ..boom she was also pregnant..plus a pressure from her father .
But everything happened for a reason.. because at the end .. a happily ever after for eternity for DongFeng family.

If I didn't read a books ..maybe im also had misunderstanding about the FL character..why the insecurity was become such a burdens to their love..

I'm also thinking of dropped it after watched it till ep10 but since the rating and the popularity rank is very impressive better than L&R which was guite popular..so I tried watched this drama from ep24 onwards as per someone suggested..and surprised I was hooked.. impressively good..much better than others drama...as you stated I also love how strong BaiQian was but in terms of mentality Fengjiu was really matured despite her age who's practically a teenager.. she's clearly level headed.. while compared to BaiQian who was always drunk get drunk..drunk and drunk some more...drunk her sorrows away when she face a mishaps.. BaiQian was indeed strong in physical but her mentality was not..well it just my honest opinion..tho
