Did I just miss it or was the OST that played in the preview for ep 10 never released in the show? I just remembered looking forward to hearing the full song because it sounded good.
If it had been Da Rim who lost her memory, would Ji Hyeok just give up so easily, and leave it up to chance to…
True. Even if the amnesia arc was ridiculous, I was actually okay with it because I thought finally, at least this could be used to show that she loves him just as much by not giving up till he falls in love with her again. But nothing. She left it up to fate and just let Jihyeok remember her by himself. It's true, what the other comment said, about her world not revolving around a man. But still, you could prioritize yourself without treating the person you claim to love as an afterthought.
I was so mad when I read the finale episode summary, but the way they executed that trope was so ridiculous that I actually found it entertaining. Kinda reminded me of Secret Garden.
The first few episodes were solid, but the writing got lazy as it went on. Still entertaining though. The plot was a complete mess, but the leads’ chemistry hard-carried the drama. I genuinely don’t get how some people think the second leads had way more chemistry because… I really didn’t see it 😭 but hey, to each their own.
My only real gripe is that the ML clearly loved the FL way more than she loved him, which was frustrating. And this is already the second Ahn Eun Jin drama I’ve watched where her character doesn’t seem as emotionally invested in her partner (Goodbye Earth being the other one).
But honestly, for all its flaws, this drama was just pure fun for me. I know a lot of people hate it, and understandably so, but it worked as a comfort watch for me.
They just really had to insert some kind of trope every episode lol. But atp, I don't mind them anymore as long as they're executed well. Contrary to many, I'm still enjoying this but honestly, I think it's only because I'm watching it as it airs. I doubt I'd enjoy it as much if I were to discover it later and binge it.
can anyone spoil what happens with the breakup? do they get back in the same episode? or were the previews from…
Yes, they do get back together. Jihyeok never agreed to the breakup anyway. He knew she was just being her usual gullible self making impulsive decisions.
i don't get the ratings because yes it was good initially but then this is just repeating in circles almost all…
It's just a matter of taste I guess. There are higher rated k-dramas here that I didn't enjoy at all. And while this one's getting mixed reactions lately, I'm still enjoying it so far and think it deserves that rating.
I don't get 2ml's love for the fl. It's not wrong for him to find love again after being divorced and with a kid.…
I actually thought about that “double standard” too. But if you look back, he was genuinely angry at the FL for cheating on her “husband” and for turning him into the side fling when he first found out she was supposedly married with a child. I think the reason he reacts more strongly to the SML and SFL’s “affair” is because, from his perspective, they’re continuously pursuing it while working alongside the guy’s wife. In contrast, his situation with the FL seemed like a momentary lapse on her part, and she even begged him to forget about it afterward because she wants to keep her "family" together.
So while it does look like a double standard on the surface, considering the context behind the two situations, the ML doesn’t see the two cases as equal at all.
Tbh, I was skeptical about how the future episodes would turn out after the first two episodes (wc I loved) but surprisingly, I'm loving how things have been going. I love the angst lol. Plus, this is one of the few romcoms nowadays that are actually funny. I also love how they are actually working lol. In some office dramas, the writers just conveniently forget the fact that the characters are employed and not just in the company to flirt w e/o.
I dislike SFL so much that it's hard to root for her to get together with SML. At first, I assumed he didn't have…
But how is he going to act tho? He still thinks she's married. Also, I don't think he needs to do much. He just naturally cares for her. And she clearly likes him back too. Meanwhile, what she feels for the SML is purely platonic.
Why do I feel like Jihyeok's gonna find out the truth through Jun? 😆 But I also think he'd be very upset about it and won't forgive her easily once he knows.
