So ML is persuing a married intern and people are ok with it ?? The problem I have with fiction like this is people…
Uhm, I think you're reaching. After finding out she was "married with a kid", when did he ever pursue her? Did you even watch the episodes? He's literally so angry at her for cheating on her husband and making him her side fling. Yes, he's still attracted to her and has feelings for her but has only maintained a professional relationship with her because that's what's morally right. Plus his beloved mother lost her mind over his father's cheating so why would he choose to wreck another child's family by being a third party?
For a hot minute, not gonna lie, I also thought they had done something to Japan's bridge. It just seemed far…
I beg to disagree. Even if Australia had reached the finals, I believe Korea still would have won. Even with Australia’s three big boys, Korea would have adjusted and come up with a better strategy for the wall-pushing game. The Korean players also would have been faster overall, even if Australia had Dom.
The only game where Australia might have held an advantage was the iron ball dragging event. From the start, Korea had the most well-rounded team. Most of their players had power, strength, and speed—not just one standout quality.
I was hoping the underdogs would win, but I’d still say Korea’s victory was well deserved.
I don’t understand why people ask these questions when if they bother to watch it they will all be answered?
You don't have to be so judgemental. Some people ask for spoilers like this because they don't like slow burns or prolonged breakups. Some don't like wasting their time watching a drama, investing emotions, just for it not to end happily. These are called preferences. :)
Yes, it's good. I never really got into Chinese dramas because they have a different vibe but I hooked with this one. I think this is the first C-drama I'd ever finish.
two contradictory reviews above. does it have intense love or little to no romance?
I’d say it’s a mix of both, depending on how you define romance. Some might feel that it has little to no romance because it doesn’t follow the usual tropes—there aren’t many overtly romantic scenes like sweet dates, intimate scenes, or the typical heart-fluttering moments we often see in other lakorns. It’s not a story filled with physical affection or grand gestures.
However, I also agree with those who say the love between the leads is intense. Their relationship goes beyond surface-level romance. It’s shown in more meaningful ways like how they constantly support and protect each other during difficult times.
Watched the one with the Navy officer a few years ago and loved it. I liked this one too even though it got messy in some parts. And I agree that the switching of hair color of the FL was a little bothersome. It reminded me of Kim in that one lakorn with James Ma lol.
Nevertheless, it was fun and sweet. The FL wasn't a damsel in distress at all and even saved the ML in some ways. The main villain was unexpected, at least for me. I also watched a few clips of the other parts of this series and I think Min and Khanin are the goofiest couple lol. This might also be the only lakorn I've watched where the main couple say "I love you" to each other every now and then. The leads really make up for the ridiculous dialogues and absurd plot holes. Overall, it was a fun watch!
By lakorn standards, it was good enough. Though there were lots of plot holes, it was still fun. I guess what I liked most was the fact that Tul loved Cream whether she was fat or not and that Pete also loved Cake enough to recognize that she and Cream were different people. My fave character's got to be Pete. I thought he was gonna be a villain but he's the smartest and most understanding character.
There are only 3 episodes out and I hate Yi Do already she talks too much and that's so exhausting to listen to…
Why would you hate someone for being talkative? It's not like it's to the point where she's already intruding others' personal space. Plus she only talks a lot in interviews and when she's with her roommate so I don't really get the "hate."
Loved the movie but I wish Il-rak looked more like his real father. I just can't buy the thing with his paternity when he looks more like Sam-gwan lol.
Some people say that the prison team stayed in the prison till the end because they didn't do well in the main games, but have they forgotten the rule on how people are sent to jail? It's all based on the number of pieces the players have! So even if the prison members end up in the top half during the main game, they'd just go back to prison because the top player is almost always the sole person to gain any new pieces. Even if they win in prison matches, the most they could get is ONE piece which doesn't really help them much. And because there has been a huge gap in the number of pieces since day one, there was really no way for the prison members to go up unless they do the secret game. I don't like this setup tbh. I prefer the game structure in The Genius much more where the number of garnets they have didn't matter as long as they do well in the main match.
This is one of the very few romcoms where there is actually comedy lol. Can't stop laughing at Beomwoo and the Gukbap kid's shenanigans especially at the VTS joke lmfao.
Kang Ha Neul is woefully miscast. He's a talented actor, but his attempt at playing Chaebol simply makes him look…
This is the reason why actors like Cha Enu Woo and Park Seo Joon always get typecast. Because y'all keep on setting standards for what a chaebol or rich character should look like. Too superficial if you ask me.
