I saw some comments like XZ fans or YZ fans being biased etc² but imo this is just a drama and most including myself are more into the characters and not the actors themseleves.Both yz and xz did their job as an actor but they are NOT LZX or GW so i don't think why fanwars should occur.It's about LZX and GW and not YZ and XZ...


I'm indeed yangzi's follower but im staying neutral because i can understand both sides of the story and not because She/He is XZ or YZ infact it has nothing to do with them.

I blame XZ and YZ for their phenomenal acting that we get so engrossed and is spending our energy in writing long essays explaining our points.🤣I always love reading various opinions to broaden my thinking and at the same time in awe with how different we all are and how complicated we as a human can be and this applies to LZX and GW as well. We humans are so unique and interesting ahahah

She considering him a failure as a bf was because of the way he reacted in the dinner scene and her despite being a decade younger respect his decision even when she wanted smthing and i think it was vice versa.The way to motivate people can defer case by case and here it work for Gu wei so he immediately returned to the hospital and faced the prob.

And this is my 2 cents from LZX POV.
LZX had a human reaction when he left her embarrassed to her parents. She didn't make a fuss by complaining why he said that but asked him what was wrong but he brushed her off saying she think too much.But she even defended him to her parents saying he wasn't that type of person.

You said why she couldn't notice.But wehenver she said smthing bout Germany or his mood he either brushed it off or was interrupted by something.Morever, she isn't a mind reader.
The girl was in her bed the whole day crying and starving because he was ignoring her and she called him sooo many times with her earphones in but he never pick up.It was the whole day.so, she tried to cheer herself up but even before she went out she literally was in a mess infront of her bf's door asking him what happend but of course he wasn't home and he went away.
She tried to forget a lil by practicing cello her hardest but sansan came and she was not in the best mood so they decided to cheer up by not minding other thing as of now.Both of them were left out without any explanation!.

When she returned xiao du and gao xi was there and they inform her and she was sooo shocked and she directly went there.Only god knows what she might have think on her way there but it was clear she was disappointed in herself for not being able to help him and think she was not reliable enough for him and you might have known everyone in the hospital were worried too and there was a meeting on how to solve the problem but he ran away and yes he had a traumatizing experience but if he didn't tell her how could she
miraculously comfort him when she herself was confused.

Now,she went there knowing what happened in his professional line so She said though he was a failure as a bf(in her pov), He is a good person and a doctor to knock some sense in him as he was literally in his head and was afraid to face it. Soft words like 'it'll be ok' 'you are not wrong' didn't work on him as you might have seen gao xi doing it so she said it's ok to face your problem and don't question yourself as a doctor!go and prove what you did was right!don't just give up!you are a good doctor and you can do this!.i believe in you!This is all between the lines of the short sentences she blurted out.(but even in this scene if she didn't knew what happened to him yet he was prepared to not tell her at all)

In their convo, you might have heard it. He didn't know the way he acted could hurt his close friends and his lover. But he didn't know that what he did could cause such commotion.He hurted his gf and himself because of the circumstance.so they are both a victim here.

We even have other aspect to keep into consideration like their age difference, career, environment where they grew up etc to know more of why they acted the way they did.

From all this we can conclude that both side of the pov is justified and it's human nature that we are complicated and everyone is vague and that's what make us unique.
Ps:And of course this is my humble opinion.

Ehh?wdym?i think you went over the topic..you said he suffered from career and reputation crisis.Yes you are right. But the FL clearly differentiated him being a bf and a doctor by saying that,
though he is failure as a bf(from her pov), he is indeed a good person and a professional doctor who always care for his patients. And she didn't use the word 'failure' in his professional front or him as a person.

Him being a bf and him being a doctor and as a person was clearly differentiated in her lines.

Of course we can have different opinions and it's only that i can sympathize with both of them and why they acted the way they did.And also we should keep in mind they have a decade span of difference in their age and in their career and the environment they grew up too.

Rude?idk which part of her was rude and failure? He indeed failed as a bf from her pov but shee always believes in him as a doctor and that's what she wanted to emphasize.Infact,No one is at fault they are both victim of circumstance. Play hard to get?where?She was hurt too we should remember her loving bf suddenly changed and she is in shocked and questioning their relationship and them as a person so even she needs time. But through this,they will get to know more about their differences and that's how they'll progress in their relationship and it is never a one way route.

She is neither rude nor apathetic towards him. From her pov he embarrassed her infront of her parents, didn't explain his sudden change(but she still believe him and protect him from her parents),He ignored her, didn't pick his phone up and went missing for a day..imagine how scary it must have been for her. If she didn't care or was rude or didn't love him she wouldn't have gone and kick some sense in him..she was empathetic and even went to the hospital after their argument..it was not him that inform her about his problems..she must have felt he didn't trust her enough and that they were not suitable to be together so she did every possible thing and I don't see any fault in how she acted the way she did ...and i can understand why they both acted the way they did
