In the drama, there is alot of added scene compared to the novel. She stayed in the univ dorm,He wasn't her neighbour and stayed in an apartment a station away from her univ dorm ,She fell for him the first time she saw him etc in the novel. Gao xi was his ex gf in the novel so she gets jealous but didn't make a fuse out of it and didn't let it affect her relationship and told Gao xi to let him go and was able to let him go abroad in Germany for work the the day after their engagement for 6 months but they were stable during their LDR too so i won't call her immature in the novel infact she was just a normal girl in her 20s but she was slow in getting to know Dr.Gu's feelings like in the drama.
