during every scene in ep 28 with chenyi, i couldn't rest easy because it felt like chenyi was an illusion?? and is actually changlan?? whenever they are talking, there will be closeups on chenyi and how chenyi doesn't make eye contact with zhuli when he first met him. as well as moving his hood away when it was already away from his face to greet the old man. it made me paranoid and think that the plans were gonna get ruined. i don't know if it was intentional or not but it was tensed. until changlan got his powers taken away and got locked up again....

although he has done a lot of awful things, i can't help but feel a little bad for him too. he doesn't hate his brother, he hates the tradition of being locked away. and how he doesnt want to trouble his brother to make a choice so he decided to end his life himself :( neither of them hate each other... they could have been good brothers. now chenyi is alone without his wife, daughter or brother but there's still zhuli by his side. andd it looks like zhuli and xiaoyan are going to get married!

this drama is the definition of trust the process and don't judge from first impressions because everything slowly gets cleared up!! and it's so satisfying to watch 🤩

yup, seems like the bad guy is always on the "good" side. knew something was up when he joined suying to attack tianyao.
