Right! I always love when the different couples interact with each other in dramas but this drama has everything. The characters that are unlikable at first or have little screentime turns out to be impactful in the end. (WuDai and ErLang) When I first saw WuDai, didn't think much of him but I actually like how straightforward he is. ErLang was the one that complained to YQ that YT escaped and injured him but also the one that helped YT back to the heavenly realm
Me too, YQ didn't do the "I won't tell her anything to protect her". I was afraid he would continue lying about not remembering the soul shards but he told her immediately after.
I think the ending is still pretty good if we put aside the twin flower reunion. Heavenly emperor finally realises his mistake. We get to see the side couples be together, the immortals getting along and the twin flower's reputation getting cleared. Chaofeng and Youqin bickering again HAHAHA They only waited for a year for the twin flower to regrow so that means emperor tun will be able to see his daughters again. Although I still want to see a reunion between all of them 😢
I love the relationships in this drama, whether it's between sisters, friends or the couples. They are all great to watch and I love how pretty much everyone are friends. I would rewatch this since there isn't that many angsty moments and still manage to be lighthearted till the end.
I was really hoping for a reunion scene 😭😭 but at least it's still a happy one, they will be reborn soon enough. Luckily they have plently of sweet scenes together to rewatch
