what's with giving everyone a proper ending except for the leads 😩😩😩 chukong didn't get to say a single line in the last scene and that was it. they could have shorten the screentime for xiuming and we would have more time for the leads too. but i'm glad that they met again and chukong remembers her, this is better than some endings i know.

i'm so glad zihui is back and he still remembers her 😭😭 that scene put me in a roller coaster of emotions. when i first zihui i thought "omg he's back!!" then he walks straight through her to another person and jinluo wanted to leave him alone. jinlian wanting to chase him back was so cute too. i was sad for her then in the next scene, the lady was actually his sister!! and he remembers her!! and jinluo heard everything!! the happy ending they deserved 😆😆😆

there was a scene in the beginning where jin luo tricks young ying shi. that was when she took over ying shi's body but her memories were also sealed away. her getting close to chu kong was her without her memories. when she had the nuwa stone, she didn't know who she is yet. that's why in the later episodes, jin lian helped her to regain her memories after she died in the mortal realm.
