i think you should watch the first few episodes to know whether you like it! it's a romcom and i really like the ml's acting. it's also by the same author for the blue whisper.

chukong doesn't die in the 5th tribulation, he uses tianji compass to go back to the present. if he didn't use it successfully, meant that he was stuck in the past and the loop repeats.
