"This is not really for me"
I feel that this sentence says it all. When I don't click with a show I don't think of the show as being bad or worthy of a 1 star rating. I just see it as a "me thing" and move on. I certainly wouldn't continue watching it for 27 episodes.

I think he had just seen her get bullied and knows he and his name can protect her. This helped him push it to be during that moment. I also believe he always planned to have the king be part of it, he knew her parents would turn down any proposal from him. So he proposed in such a way to take their control out of it.

Its why I now dislike seeing 40 episodes listed in costume dramas currently being released because I know they planned for more episodes since they were filmed before the 40 episode rule. With a part 1 and part 2 drama we are more likely to get the full drama as it was intended to be.
