So do we get to see a lot of their school time or is it just small clips like in the first episode ?

I think in the hands of lesser actors the first episode would have been dull and even boring but its JBR and TSY so we felt the awkwardness, the tension, and the barely suppressed emotions.

i sometimes have to pause too. Unfortunately iQ likes to put a little ad in the middle when you pause. I always click in the middle to unpause without thinking and end up opening a browser.

So far this show is so my thing. JBR and TSY are fantastic. My only complaint is the subtitling of the music and dialogue at the same time can be confusing but that is a complaint I have with many dramas

I was planning to watch this on Viki but it says it will be 17 days before they get it, looks like I will be getting myself a Iqiyi subscription for this one

I noticed that it had Song of the Moon down as related content. I did watch that drama and was wondering if anyone knew how they were related?

I am so confused about what is about to air. I can't imagine Youku airing to Xainxias in the same time frame but both shows seem like they are about to air.

I know this story is told in the past and the present. I was wondering if the drama is telling both as the show goes along or do we see the past story in full and then we get the present?

For me it ended up feeling like a choose your sad ending situation with a rushed happy ending tacked on to the second one. I kind of feel that they should have let 39 be the ending

I am still pondering the two endings but i do want to say Zhang Bin Bin knocked it out of the park. Also many of the other actors did a fantastic job. . i now want to see Wang You Shuo in a lead part in a costume drama, and Riley Wang/Zheng He Hui Zi need to be paired again in a romance.

Isn't Song of the Moon an IQ show? Why would youku wait on a IQ show before airing. Is it because it would draw the same audience?

I agree that they handled the amnesia plot well, keeping an emotional connection there.

I have seen other Xianxia's where immortals jump off a cliff or go into water and have a mortal trail. It is usually inferred that they go from baby to death during such experiences. Why did Luo Ge stay an adult male?
